Robbinsville vs Elkin

Robbinsville has played Elkin three times: '08, '09 and '10. Lost a close game in '08 and killed them in '09 and '10. I expect Robbinsville to win comfortably next Friday.
Yes the last 2 meetings Robbinsville won 42-7 and 40-6

Maybe/hopefully Coach Stack can get a winning attitude back in the program. I think he is headed in the right direction. It’s my belief that our fans have the patience to allow him to turn the program around. I do know he has them going in the right direction, on and off the field. Might be another tuff year next year but I think there is light at the end of the tunnel, just hope it’s not the train coming in the other direction.

Go ahead and book our reservations to the 3rd round. Matchups just go our way. Knights by at least 28. I don't think we'll be traveling far either ... my brothers on the Rez are going to surprise some Mountaineer fans this coming Friday.
Your goona have to travel to Forest City. If Mitchell and Murphy both win they will play at Mitchell. If Mitchell loses Cherokee will play Murphy at Murphy.
Go get em Knights. Knights will win big. Our boys had this one in the bag and played hard till the end. Elkin is well coached and made the needed adjustments for the second half.

I don't get this true 1A stuff I keep seeing. Do we need 4 1A playoffs? Under 400 , 400-500 , 500 - 600, 600+. There are about 39 schools with under 400 and not all play football and some are under 300. Cherokee has 324 the smallest in the west Mitchell has 489 the largest in the west and Cherokee won the west and the state last year. Which is more bragging rights winning under 500 championship or under 400? In the 1AA this year in the East Granville Central has 734 students ( obviously added some kids since the last realignment) while Tarboro has 557 but I haven't seen anything about Tarbro complaining about it ( for that matter North Stanly 601 who plays Granville next) just that no one can beat them. There has to be a cut off point somewhere and you have to enough schools to play a playoff. Even if you could divide it further and could come up with enough teams then your going to have teams with only one or two wins in the playoffs in fact probably every one will have to play in it.
Don't know what to expect. Robbinsville has some injuries to deal with,one very serious in particular. If we can get by Elkin ,hopefully we are a little more healthy for 3rd round
Does a broken leg of a starter seem like a nagging injury to you? Go to the basketball board. Andrews is NEVER on football boards this time of year. You've kinda crossed me I guess you could say.

Just because your from Robbinsville doesn’t make you all knowing about football, heck you probably never got to play if and when you did play. They are always a fan like you that goes overboard about their team by bragging and beating their chest about their team that makes the other schools hate them. You started this by taking a dig at some injured players like they really wasnt unjured..Show me where I chest beat and go overboard? Meet me at Topton and I'll show you what a State Championship ring looks like. I played plenty. NEVER lost to Andrews either..but of course who did lose to Andrews.

I spoke to his family last week and they told me it’s a small fracture. If we survive Elkin he would be back the following week. Hope they don’t rush him back too quick , he’s a freshman and going to be a special player. Fortunately we have one of the best trainers in the business “miss Ann” is top of the line. Go Knights
Nobody should ever rush a freshman back if he had been injured, and there's uncertainty of whether the injury has completely healed.....No sense dimming a bright future of a young athelete if he still has 3 years left to play....Just my opinion...

I agree Rick. With that said i dont think Coach Walsh would allow someone to play knowing he could do irreversible damage. He will always put the health of these young men first. We’re probably jumping the gun a little he’s not played a play since the injury. Go Knights
