My assumption is he proved that calls were made to an escort on a government phone - that's enough to get you canned from your current job if it's more than a butt dial - which Tom Mars proved pretty quickly. Who the hookers serviced? That requires a lot more digging and I doubt he ever proved that and put it in writing. Doubt he wants his name attached to having made those statements as fact if he couldn't back them up. He's just covering his *** should Auburn really take some heat for hiring a coach that "buys recruits hookers". I'm sure he privately infers that, but he's also separating himself from being the source of that "fact". You'd do it to if your livelihood was based on it.

Yep, he's helping out Cohen. The SEC would not have been hell bent on keeping Freeze out this long if it was just him and escorts. I think it’s a technicality. They did find an escort number. come to your own conclusions. There was no concrete proof he was connecting recruits with her. Hell, they could have been for him. Which is equally as bad.
If you guys have all this information, why has no sports or investigative journalist uncovered it? You can not believe what you read on the internet. Just because we make assumptions, that doesn't mean it is true or there is proof.
As I recall the story, the hooker number that got him busted was in Tampa. Freeze was in Tampa recruiting an offensive lineman and it was the recruits birthday. Perhaps it was for Freeze, perhaps it was for the recruit, or perhaps it was for a three way. I guess we will never know.
I would guess that a lawyer would recommend that anyone should be extremely careful what they are accusing someone of. Especially if that accusation is a felony involving a minor.

Nah, he's loyal to Cohen no doubt. If he wanted to clear the air in the name of accuracy regarding Hugh's motives, he would've done it a long time ago instead of waiting until Auburn hired him. The information paints him in a bad light, he was just being courteous. Obviously he ordered both a male and female hooker in case the recruit had other preferences.
Why wouldn’t he expect them to keep it quiet. They kept quiet about the Dodge Chargers, they kept quiet about moms new job, they kept quiet about uncle Franks new double wide, and they’ve kept quiet about the hookers. The recruits didn’t get Hugh busted, Hugh got Hugh busted.
