Rutgers along with Duke, Kansas, Memphis and UCLA made the top five for wing Naas Cunningham.

Now our recruiting has another advantage. When recruits are given an offer, they need to decide fairly quick before the slot is gone. The leverage has moved to management.

Why the duck would the 6th best team (Dook) in the 7th best conference (yes the ACC is 7th rn behind the MWC) pass on the 4th best player in the country lol

His listing Rutgers just shows how recruiting has changed in perception from recruiting mostly 3 star players to elite 5 star players. The more times a team is listed naturally attracts other top tier recruits to that school.Winning matters in sports and Pikiell is now following the Calhoun plan to start with tough defense and then bring in the difference maker scorers .

Could you imagine Naas, Ace, Dylan, and Gavin on the same team. Good lord!
Extremely slim chance it'll happen, but there's always a chance of winning the Powerball jackpot too... But not only that, could you imagine if all of them came and by some miracle everybody who's still eligible in '24-'25 stayed? Part of the fantasy roster would look like this, and even minus one or two would still be an amazing roster:

Gavin, Ace, Dylan, Naas, Warren, Jamichael Davis, Baye Ndongo, Cliff, Mag, Reiber, Simpson, Woolfolk, etc... Yikes.

So a week before Ace Bailey committed I was going to post here what are our chances with Bailey, Harper, and Cunningham

This is insane

To maximize the chances of recruiting success by keeping the verbals committed and continuing to get elite players to commit, it's probably important that we don't go into a slump now at the end of the season, so the coaches don't have to concentrate on damage control with the recruits. Injury to Mag now is so unfortunate for Mag and for Rutgers. Important now to continue to play well and win. Go RU.

Is there enough NIL to go around if we landed a fab 5 type recruiting class?

It's amazing we have seemed to step up in that area for Ace and Dylan, but can we really go from hearing nothing except how far behind Rutgers is with NIL to being an NIL powerhouse??

Both Monteverde and IMG are accredited high schools.
Another alternative is the GED which with just some tutoring most kids can pass pretty easily.
