Game set match on this freakshow. My wife (an attorney but not a criminal attorney) said he has to plead. I said I'm not sure a plea will ever be on the table unless there is a full confession to everything.
He's doing the whole "it was just all in good fun" thing. That's why I'm suggesting that any doubters out there read the actual indictment. Because, oddly enough in this day and age, the media coverage has actually not done it justice. After hearing his denial tonight I went and read the indictment and there is no getting out of this for him. He will get what's coming to him, which is a long jail sentence with some very sexually repressed inmates. Unfortunately for him, they are all at least 8 to 10 years older than the young kids he pinned against shower walls. Or wrestled into the 69 position and, well, read the indictment.

I have read it, and if it is all true, I don't know how this Sandusky guy could even walk upright after giving that interview.

When someone asks a grown man if he's sexually attracted to young boys, the response would normally be pretty quick and definitive. It shouldn't take choosing your words carefully.
My favorite Costas moment told him that if he's saying that none of the charges are true, then Sandusky must be the most unlucky, persecuted man in the world.

On another note, he claims there was no sexual contact, but they were just playing in the shower. Really? What would make you, a middle aged man, decide that as part of your day hosting a kid that getting naked with him and playing naked games in the shower would be something fun and completely acceptable, even if no sexual contact was involved?
I too thought it very odd that he would 1) agree to a TV interview and 2) that he would have the nerve to openly lie like that expecting to clear his name publicly somehow.
The kind of lies he told were about as transparent as me trying to tell my parents that I got an MIP in college because I was just holding a beer for my friend. I don't think anyone's going to buy it. I certainly didn't come away thinking he created any sort of doubt about his role in the situations in question. If anything, he made himself look like even more of a jerk, because now he's added "brazen liar" to his title along with "serial pedophile".
