I really do believe that. If I was a QB or RB at SC, I would transfer unless somehow the coaching staff could guarantee me that the offensive line was going to be markedly better next year with all new faces. If I was the parent of a QB or RB, I would be an advocate for my child and say there is no way my child is playing behind that offensive line.
If I was a recruit or in the transfer portal, there is zero chance that I would come to SC unless I saw a huge change at offensive line.
I hate to say this but you have to be pretty stupid to want to play QB or RB at SC until the coaching staff can show that they know how to field an offensive line.
I am a life long SC fan. I am a big Beamer fan and want him to succeed. I liked the hire. But sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to see a difference. And if SC goes into this offense and doesn't absolutely just raid the transfer portal of TOP offensive lineman, then. you can bet your *** you are in for watching the exact same thing next year. I don't care who is hired as OC.
