This is an interesting show. There is a lot to take in. I stopped watching Westworld and am now binging on this. Interesting relationship between mom and “middle” daughter.

Not sure what would make it for chicks but it is creepy and dark as hell.
I think it is great but other's mileage might be different. A couple episodes in the middle it gets real slow but the last couple have been great. This last week episodes was creepy as hell.

BTW, I'm not bashing the show, the promos I saw just looked like it targeted female viewers.
This show is jacked up. It has a great cast. My biggest problem with it is they didn't advance the plot much at all through the first 6 episodes and then last week they moved it almost to the end in one episode. Overall I like it though. Patricia Clarkson's performance is outstanding. They've also done a great job of making Amy Adams look like a dirty, gross, disgusting drunk.
Yeah a decent chunk of the season was a real slow burn. I will say the last 10 minutes or so of the last episode creeped me the hell out as much as anything I've seen on TV.
Succession had a great first season. I hope it does not go Westworld for Season 2.
This is one I need to check out I've heard nothing but good things.

I'll give everyone a day or two to see the end before discussing. The wife and I watched five episodes of it Sunday night, finishing up around midnight. She said she was glad we didn't binge it last weekend and then have to wait a week for the finale. I agreed. She's never handled suspense very well; she kept getting up and walking around the room. Some seriously f-up stuff going on in the final EP.
The ending was better than I expected based on BJ's comment about the conclusion. It was a little surprising, but not too surprising. The daughter was clearly a freak through the whole series. It took me a few episodes to even realize that the psycho girl on the skates was the same girl that acted like a 6 year old at home. Overall I liked it. My only complaint was the pacing. It either moved 5 mph or 100 mph.
I hate watching this just before I go to bed. I need to rewatch episode 5 (I feel asleep during part of it) and finish episode 8. Succession is better but this is not a bad series.
Overall it was very good but it did take a very winding path for them to get to the finale which was worth the wait. Amy Adams was excellent. I thought her plain and disheveled look was pretty hot, minus the scars.
