Time will tell if all these GMs are smart or will many of them lose their job because of this choice to embarrass this young man.

I don't think anyone is trying to embarass him.

The NFL is about talent. They will overlook a LOT for a talented player.

I think what we're seeing is just each and every NFL team doesn't see his talent as at the level his family thinks it is.

His annoying attitude just makes the story better.

And annoying father. Deion will probably try to call all the shots with whatever team drafts him.

Yes. A combination of an arrogant/unteachable attitude and not enough talent to compensate for it.

Sanders would have made more as a college senior than he's going to make in the NFL his first several seasons. This slide has cost him a ton.

As coup pointed out earlier, he's already rich. Is he really playing for money or just using his paycheck as a way of keeping score? I think he and daddy had a vision of an NFL career that was not shared by 32 professional organizations over multiple rounds. Personally, I wanted my Cowboys to draft him, sit back, and enjoy the Prime and Jerry Show. ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree, he's keeping score and lost miserably! That said, $30m+ is a lot of money, even with his $.

It just amazes me the media bought into all the glitz, He was the #1 draft story throughout and now he's the 5th QB on a $hitty team! It looks like it's all about branding with him and his camp, I can't see how that will work out for him now!

Wait. There are so many news sites that say he is doing so well and that it is only a matter of time before his timing is perfect. Wonder what distraction is going to come of this when he is 4th string when the season starts. Maybe he had an illness or a sore thumb or girl problems with Tavis Hunter's girl. She gone get paid one way or another.

Well, due to injuries and experience ahead of him, he gets the start and their first preseason game. Itโ€™s his chance to prove everybody wrong.

Well, credit where credit is due. Seems like he played well in his preseason start. I think some pundits are exaggerating how well he played, but he certainly did well. Better than I hoped he would.

Lost in all the drama over who his father is and his little watch celebration is that he did throw for 4100 yards with 37 TDs last year. Also, is the All-Time leader in Completion % in the College Ranks. I watched every one of his games and was not surprised that he would perform if given the chance. A lot of people focused on his perceived arrogance and either forgot to watch the tape or refused to acknowledge what they saw.

I'm not buying just yet. NFL preseason game is a far, far cry from playing on Sundays during the regular season. Nevertheless, he did what he had to do with the opportunity he was given.

He's got an arm. Even if he doesn't start, he could make someone's roster and earn a living.
