Sidney's first half stats. Interesting.

Sid scored 8 points and had one rebound and two fouls. I remember specifically when he was in the game.

IN THE FIRST HALF:

Score when Sidney was in the game(He played 3 minutes to start and played 4 and a half minutes late in the 1st half):

State-8(Yes, noone else scored when Sid was in the game). Baylor-15

Score when Sidney was not in the game:

State-25. Baylor-19

If y'all remember, we had a 3 point lead when Sid came back in around the 9 minute mark. After his appearance on the floor for four and half minutes, we were down 5. He neglected to help off on Heslip on an inbounds play and didn't defend Jackson on the ball screen.

He didn't do ANYTHING in the second half except cause us problems. Because of his inactivity, it's hard for me to determine when he was in or out of the game. He is a special talent that can score. He is not a good basketball player. He can score, that's it.

Sid's an average asset to the team. That's it. Has his attitude changed? It appears so but since when is a good attitude and being a team player such a rare characteristic? As for his conditioning, it's better. Not great but better. But defensively, he's a huge liability. He's going to getfoul calls whether fairor not because hishe has little body control defensively.A wrong lean here or a wrong angle there and whateverhe does seems obviousfrom the official's point of view.Missed 2 key free throws down the stretch also. But again, he didn't punch anyone and that's what really matters here. Oh, and he tried hard. Because that's such a rare thing and all for a college athlete to do.

He will not ever change. He will not ever control his emotions. He has never been held accountable. Bury will NEVER hold him accountable. To expect him to behave differently is a total exercise in futility.

very deserving. He wasn't looking at or talking to a ref when he got teed up. I'm sure he said something to a teammate, but seemed like a pretty quick trigger by the ref.
