No surprise to me to see B. McCLure leading the conference in YPC, Hayesvilles new offense really spreads the ball around so he doesnt have as many carries as others, but everytime he touches it you almost expect a big play. I know some might say look at the competition but even when Hayesville struggled against Tellico Plains he averaged 14.8 YPC. It will be interesting to see what he does against Murphy and Robbinsville, I think he can sustain it but I wonder for how many carries.

He was a little banged up, as a few others were against Tellico. He only had around 8 carries. As we well know the level of defense (for most) greatly improves once conference starts. Does he have the talent to be one of the top backs in the conference? Yes I believe so just depends on how the team performs. A team is only as good as their backbone, the trench warriors, the Hawgs. If line can clear the way for him then yes he can put up some numbers.

I saw on Campbell college site that showed 5,600. The Graham star said Mccracken leads with 5,100 plus change. Travis always said they didnt count hiss 900yds as a freshman. NCHSAA doesnt show any yds for Travis as a freshman. Why? If true Travis would have around 6,000yds. I calling kurt the leader at 5,600 unless i find something else out.

What is the rushing and all purpose TD records at Robbinsville? He should be close to that as well.

I think kurt had 90 or 95tds.
I think the td record is safe.
Kurts rushing record is smc record not just Robbinsville

The Campbell College website said he had 2,009yds as senior and 5,600yds career rushing yds. Kurt had to sit out a regular season game his senior year and was very sick for 4 week in November and was limited.

90 tds which i think is total tds not rushing tds. Not sure.

Anderson should break ryshing title.
Anderson didnt play much as a freshman so almost all his yds are from 3 years. Thats about 2,000yds a yr average. If he had got 1,000 as a freshman like Sain we could be talking about a new record of 6,500-to 7,000yds. As is he will probably finish between 5,800 and 6,200.

I’m a little confused on Anderson’s totals. He broke the 4K mark on the first or second play in the SM game ( first game of the year ) he has less than 800 this , so far. How is he over 4800? What am I missing ? I’m not a smart guy but what am I overlooking?

Maxpreps had him at 4,100plus before the season started. Robbinsville sends Maxpreps the stats so I think they are right. Better than ACTimes. It is confusing that the Graham Star said he had less.

Ok got it. They announced over the loud speaker that Rylee had just went over the 4K mark for his career. I thought it was strange to announce that for a visiting running back. Did I hear that ?

That was an error on their part ..He went over 4000 yds last year..Smoky Mountain announcer was only adding up his yardage as a sophomore and junior..Anderson rushed for 134 yds in his Freshman year on varsity ..

Thanks for the info. Hopefully he stays healthy and the offensive line continues to play hard ,if all this happens he could have another very good year .
