Sounds like it took you all day to think that up...I thought I smelled something burning..[/QUOTE. Great comeback. All that's burning is tuscolas butts and your program
Can you put french’s mustard on my sausage biscuit. Um hummmmmmSounds an awe full lot like a certain state employee using a new handle here, after apparently getting the boot yesterday.
That's traditionally a battle and I suspect this year will be even more juiced up with the head of steam we've both got going. My prediction is that it will be for the conference championship. But we've got a few obstacles to get through yet.I'm hoping Brevard will also be undefeated in conference play when we meet on the last regular season game.
Y'all beat a really really good Asheville team tonight to...when does your coaching search startWHAT???? TOO SOON?![]()
Sounds like your coaching search has already started, especially after tonight.Y'all beat a really really good Asheville team tonight to...when does your coaching search start
Not even close..but I'm sure you wish..he's beat your a$$ seven timesSounds like your coaching search has already started, especially after tonight.
You joking right. Why would we be looking for another coach after losing to a good team in overtime. The same team that beat you guys 37-7.Sounds like your coaching search has already started, especially after tonight.
Why would you go for an unnecessary 2-point conversion in 1st Q and risk taking points off the board when you have an atrocious offense like the bears do? Lol. That point made a big difference. Hats off to the "Pismoky" coached Mustangs... RB, DP, and company just wanted it more and had their bunch more ready to go. Outplayed and definitely OUTCOACHED Pisgah last night. BC had the boys "slow walk" into the stadium to intimidate and RB & Co. had them "slow walk" out to humiliate. Looks like the conference is going to come down to Brevard and Smoky. Hard fought game by both teams and a very tough loss for my bears. Gotta move on and get ready for the next one though as they all matter even more now!
91, calm down Jesus man. We actually had a traffic jam to maneuver through to get home. Unlike ya'll.
Gotta had it to Smoky they played hard. I believe 44 would have carried all 11 on our defense into the endzone on that last play.
Refs let em play tonight, they didn't get involved much.
You'd thought SM would have won the state championship tho the way the whole coaching staff ran on to the field. Did you run out there with em 91? cause its been a while since you waynesville fellas felt that.
LOL. Sounds like y'all need to calm down..You are losing your sense of humor. One thing about it 91, Pisgah is still in the conference hunt unlike ya'll.
Ol' reds comin next week.LOL. Sounds like y'all need to calm down..You are losing your sense of humor.
OH I know. LOL. I'm gonna start a thread about it for you know who.Ol' reds comin next week.
Smokys line was a lot bigger than ours plus most are seniors. They eventually wore us down. It will be interesting to see if Smoky can keep playing like that for the rest of the year.Pisgah certainly will have to do better on offense as well.Great game to watch. SM offensive line manhandled Pisgah's DL. That surprised me. Never thought they would rush for 300 yards on Pisgah. Two very similar styles; neither team can throw the ball a lick. SM OL and running backs were the keys for them. Lot of yards after contact for both 44 and 14. Nice to see a well officiated game as that's not that common anymore.
Yep, what you said and the fact that we have pretty much no offense at all makes for a bad combo... Gotta start putting the ball in the endzone. Defense can't win 'em all. Anybody have any stats from last night's game?(What I seen)
How do you beat a solid defense? Well, having a power back and a quick back duo working in tandem is a good start. Utilize them most effectively by keeping the defense guessing and hiding the ball exceptionally well (even to fans who see everything from a bird's eye view) and thus causing confusion as to "who" has the ball and therefore utilizing the element of surprise very effective. Run lots of counters and traps to add surprise and test the flats and middle every once in awhile with a pass. Then to galvanize your attack, make sure your QB is making lightning fast exchange's during hand-offs to assure that the defence never is able to adjust during the play. This is what overcomes a good and solid defense and it's exactly what SM excuted almost to perfection last night.
As a result IMO, made us a better team, and advanced SM in the win column.
Congrats to the Mustangs.
According to the Asheville paper both Smoky running backs had 141yds each,Probably less than 44 has had all year.Yep, what you said and the fact that we have pretty much no offense at all makes for a bad combo... You think they were comparing casserole recipes? Not even close..but I'm sure you wish..he's beat your a$$ seven times
44 had less than that a game or two.According to the Asheville paper both Smoky running backs had 141yds each,Probably less than 44 has had all year.
Just guessing but our QB was probably the leading rusher for us.
Leave family members out of discussion. It has no place here.Heyyyyyy
