Not ready to Compare Snell to anyone, but have said that he is our best back.
If JoJo and Mikel both weren't dinged up our pathetic coaching staff probably would have never given him the ball.
4 td's against any team for a true freshman is awesome!

Both had good games, but no way you can compare them. Snell behind a Pi$$ Poor line and against a weak team, and Lying Harris behind a Great line and against a good team. However, Snell gained a lot of yards even after being tackled. Kid showed a lot of heart.

You saying snell is better then Harris doesn't make sense at all. We have seen snell play in one game against a horrible football team. Let's see how he does against decent teams.

Harris is sort of a combination of Boom & Snell. He has the elusiveness, and speed of Boom along with the size and power of Snell. I know people would like to degrade him becasue he isn't playing for us but in reality he is fully worthy of his 5 star ranking and it's no accident he is now starting for the nations #1 team in his second year.

He has been injured. They weren't going to risk getting him hurt even worse against our team. They could have beat us 10 out of 10 times.
Benny is going to be a great back in my humble opinion. So is Harris. One fact that I am not sure that everyone is aware of is that Bennys father was a running back in the NFL, so he has a pedigree. To compare them this early is pure speculation. I wish we had both.
So you establish that a RB is bad because he has a 5 star playing over him while he is hurt on the #1 team in the country? And you establish that another RB is good because he has a 4 star playing over him and shares carries with another 3/4 star while he is at full health at the 75+ ranked school in the country? Seems legit. You are a special kind.

Harris will be the primary guy next year this thread could come back to haunt umm, or he missed his true calling as a college scout
I don't think the original OP is as crazy as you all think. Harris may be better, but not by much. Snell's ability to move the pile and have the speed is a rare combo. I'm not sure Harris has the power of Snell.
Despite ulis' s normal bs, i think this one could be legit. He still has a long way to go to prove himself, but iIf snell was running behind Bama' s oline, i think he might have better results than Harris....of course, thats something we can never know, but snell is a special kind of back that only comes around once in a while. Its too bad the rest of our team cant give him the holes he needs to do some real damage!
I tend to agree. I'm not sure Harris is even the best back on his team. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he didn't lose his starting job to Joshua Jacobs before the season is over.
I get what you mean but its too early to claim it yet. Snell has been very impressive but we've only seen him a few games. For all we know he could stink the rest of the year, we haven't seen enough to know who is better yet.
He made the Ravens practice squad in 1998, but to my knowledge didn't play in a regular season game in NFL.
Don't know that we can say Snell isn't as elusive as DH. Put them behind comparable lines to compare power, but Snell be quite stong. Snell can sure find any straight ahead seam.

ulismyman, you are entitled to your opinion, so don't let people who have a different opinion get to you. I don't know, because you, or others who are knocking you, can not prove one way or other. The OL's are completely different. So far, UK's OL has been very soft, and what Snell has made, has mostly been made dragging people with him. The one thing I know is, Snell looked very good against NMS. Time will tell. Usually a player is not as good as we think, or as bad as we think.

If it was Bennys dad I saw at the Cat walk before the SC game and I am pretty sure it was,, he looks like he could suit up and play right now! Big man and looks to be in great shape!
