We drove a coach out of town that more often than not won 9,10.11 games. Why? Because he didn't beat Ohio State. Count me among those who are waiting to see the savior who will win 10 and 11 and beat Ohio State. I'm 76, Is it next season? LOLLOLLOLLOL

You have successfully gotten rid of James Franklin.

Congratulations! While all the jaekels and ghouls cried about Franklin not "winning the big one...." LOL he just won 50 million dollars.
You have also lost your entire recruiting class. The opt outs and portal entries start this morning.
Even Humpty Dumpty couldn't put this back together again. Let's see how long it will be before Penn State can win 10 meaningless games in one season again.

We Are......just like Auburn.....Nebraska....and the rest.

I'm 85, I hope it's next season. I don't have many seasons left. lol

At 70, I'm just happy my teams have won two World Series, two Super Bowls, two Stanley Cups, 5 German Championships, and three MLS Cups ..., in my lifetime. Oh, and two MNCs. More would be nice, but I'm not gonna complain too much.

Since there has been no announcement of a Kraft press conference, it is apparent that No News is Bad News. The entire 2026 recruiting class is gone. For all the people posting that there is a plan, IMO there is no plan other than panic in the AD’s office. If someone was hired over the last 51 days, it would have been announced to stop the bleeding from the program. It practically has become a self imposed death penalty.

A new coach is going to have very little to work with losing players to graduation and having none to come in to replace them. And this is without losing anyone through the transfer portal. So I don’t care who the splash hire is (IMO there isn’t one) because they will have almost nothing to develop.

I was in Kraft camp when he let BGJ go because he had a half season to get someone in place and had a head start on other schools that eventually fired their HC giving him a leg up in the search and hire. But now it really appears that Kraft and his ego has blown this big time. It could take the program a long time to recover, if it ever does. This could be the Dark Years part two.

The era is different. When it was just 2 and 4 teams to make the championship round, 10 wins and a NY6 bowl trip is a great season and maybe you get a break or two to get into that next stage. Now with 12 teams and possibly more in the future, it’s playoffs or bust. Add in the financial aspect between players getting paid and coaches getting stupid amounts of cash, it’s a pro game now. Also, how much more evidence do you need that this guy is not getting you over the hump? It’s about winning championships and being in contention for championships now and with the amount of money being shelled out, you have to meet those standards.
