Appears to be a pretty decent WR prospect from LA that we are showing significant interest in. On Scout though he is an unrated 2 star prospect but claims offers from Nebraska, Arkansas, OM, TX A&M and Louisiana Tech. Also recently name LA 2A player of the year. Anyone have an understanding for why he is rated so low?

I've never understood his position. He's slowed played us since day one. He has gotten some legitimate offers (State and Nebraska, not sure about the others).Seems like he took several unofficial visits to NU. He's got all themeasurablesto play SEC ball.According to some, he was the MOST impressive WR at the camps this summer. I assume he has been holding out for an LSU offer.<div>

Moore, B Brown and Jefferson which would be pretty good. However sort of sickening that in a year where the Bears' program has sunk even lower in the dumpster that they are still likely to get Ward (a real difference maker at DE) and R Brown (over 200 tackles this year at LB) but that's the way its looking right now. Both have family connections to UM that are pushing them in that direction. I will say if they get Ward, Brown, Gross and Liggins that would be a pretty decent share of upper tier MS recruits for them this year given the disaster their program has been for the past 2 seasons.
Some kids are bound for State some are bound for Ole Miss, it's hard to overcome family connections. I'm not sure Ward knows where he wants to go and I think USM actually has a good shot at Alford and R. Brown. Getting Autry helps termendously and we have Eulls as well. Now adding Ward would make that D Line phenomenal!
But if we finish with B. Brown, Moore, and AJ Jefferson that would be a fill out a heck of a good recruiting class.

I think we will close with R. Brown , B. Brown, A.Jefferson, and Moore. There will be one player that will not qualify I am sure and that will allow four spots. I feel good about R. Brown, but like most of us not so good about Ward.
