Observing from afar, their less than spectacular team has found a QB and they are playing some inspired ball. More impressive is their fanbase which was loud and raucous during the UT game.

Kudos.

With the UTn win, USC is very likely to win six and become bowl eligible. The have MO and Western Carolina at home along with Florida and Clemson.

Only watched a few minutes but, yes, it looks like they have finally found some QB play. If they can win at Mizzou this weekend they will finish at 6-6. Pretty surprising IMO.

SC still gets my vote as "most important win" for this year's Wildcats. A loss to SC would have left the Cats 1-4 coming out of Tuscaloosa. Recovering from that start would have been very, very difficult.

Peace

I agree with your observation. They are replacing a 4-star quarterback with another 4-star quarterback, both Freshmen. I'm glad Bentley didn't play against us. He's much better than the guy who played against us.

What happened to the freshman qb that played against us?

How do we get pushed down the chain if Vandy and USCjr get a bowl invite if their record is not better than ours?
To be honest it doesn't even matter that much what their record is anymore. The bowls get to pick and choose who they want and since Kentucky hasn't been bowling in six years and we have a large fan base known for traveling we would likely still get a better draw than either of those two teams.

Bentley is 17, I think. Should still be in high school.

Also, I think someone overstated that UK would outdraw USCe in a travel/bowl scenario.

Vandy can get pumped. They'll bring 15 nerds and their Self-importance.
