Everybody knows Tarboro is good - it’s not a secret. No need to be so arrogant. Act like we’ve been here before.
They were 1A with realignment in 2013. Won first title in 1A last year.
Albemarle, like Murphy, does not count their early college students. It was that way for AHS not sure now. Murphy was on collision course with them last year until Mt Airy beat them in the regional final.
Clearly you've never seen Tarboro play. Tarboro already had their toughest game of the year. 1AA has nothing for them. At least not in the eastern bracket.
Depends. By pretty much anyone else’s standard, Tarboro runs pretty much every down. By our own standards, we are throwing the ball a lot more this year. In 2018, we throw 3-5 times a game. In previous years, it averages 1-2 per game.
North Stanly had just as much talent as Mount Airy last year and Murphy were fortunate to beat them. Difference being Murphy played well against North Stanly and did not against Mount Airy.
As it relates to this year I think North is a bit too one dimensional offensively and Mount Airy's balance on that side of the ball gives them a better chance of creating some kind of offense against Tarboro.

I cant imagine Tarboro being better than my Bulldogs during the early to mid 2000's but I think they may be close from what I have seen and read. I say that they beat SS by 50 with a running clock and NS by 35.
I agree with TarVikes on any given day a team can be beat. I can assure you that the Tarboro coaching staff and players are planning for one game at a time because it only takes one loss to be eliminated. As fans sometimes we get hyped up but be reassured we take each game as though it could be the last. I hope i can make the trip down from Greensboro Friday during the day to get to see the Vikings in action Friday night.
