South Stokes coach resigns

I think coach Diamont main goal is to give East Surry a game to remember or even beat them by next year after East Surry screwed him and he lost a chance to break a record. Hope with the 65 players he got maybe he can get some great players from West Stokes and Maybe East Surry.
I don’t see South Stokes giving East Surry or Mount Airy any trouble next season or in the next few years. East Surry also didn’t screw him from breaking a record, a school can’t fire anyone, only the superintendent can. No one is leaving West Stokes or East Surry to go to South Stokes, stop being stupid.
Now that remark was uncalled for. I call you no names and I was just speculating what could happen. And it could very well happen. I gave speculation and was called stupid for it. Grow up and let people post their opinions. Calling people names over what I posted is uncalled for. In football, anything can happen or change. And I will not stoop to your level and disrespect you. I will tell you this. Coach Diamont did not take the South Stokes job to get back at East Surry. He has way too much class and respect then that.
So what you are saying in this post and a previous post is that players in Stokes and Surry Counties frequently change schools for athletics....those “traditional” schools... I tell you I’m shocked...lol
East Surry has ONE player from Stokes County and he had to sit out a year due to NCHSAA transfer rules.

If by TH , you mean Honeycutt (OC @ Nortern Guilford) , he will find a home as a head coach either this year or next. Needs to get back to Davidson County IMO. Suurpised either OG, ND, or Ledford hasnt called him to come be there OC.
East Surry also has a football player transfer from Mount Airy who was supposedly suspended for a year due to some past conduct issues but is being recruited by ACC and SEC schools but was able to play all sports last year. Also, has a phenomenal female basketball player who is a transfer and is one of the best players, in not only the state but the entire nation. I think committed to NC State. Don't quote me on this but this is what I've heard, yet most I know is fact.

Was that sarcasm because I was simply giving factual information. I do not hate on transferring for the fairness of a student athlete.
The player who transferred from Mount Airy moved into the East district and I don’t think there was ever any talk that he would have to sit out a year. The girl basketball player also moved into the East district her freshman year, but chose to stay at North Surry for a year before transferring her sophomore year.
