Anyone know why we have an assistant special teams coordinator but no special teams coordinator?

Clearly Riley is not committed to excellence in special teams. We have no coordinated plan and should just fair catch all kickoff returns and save the wear and tear.

The onside kick return team was downright embarrassing. Also, unless he's not a punt "catcher," wouldn't Raleek Brown be the obvious choice for punt "returner" duties?

Think about our Kickoff Team, every time there is not a touchback, teams eat up significant real estate.

We simply forfeit special teams play and we can't afford to give that away.

I don’t get it either.

We don’t even have a designated OC or QB coach but have plenty of inside/outside position coaches.

I know Henson is technically OC, but let’s face it, his real job is O Line and Riley is calling the plays. We don’t have a QB coach but we all know Riley is doing that.

They need to fix this, because if they don’t think it can cost you games, they never watched Frank Beamer’s VaTech teams or Bill Snyder’s KSU teams.

The kickoff rule change is worthless pansy ball. May as well eschew with the kickoff and start at the 25 yard line if every team takes the touchback, but then the NCAA will 100% get its way. Maybe that's the point.
