Totally agree. Always loved TOBC despite the horrible beat downs he put on UK. I'm pretty sure he has a clean NCAA record and, IIRC, has been perhaps the most active SEC coach in "reporting" cheating by others.Watched that earlier. I will miss him when he hangs up his visor. He is a national treasure, though there's nothing as fulfilling as beating his team!

Yep, for my money the second greatest/second most influential coach in SEC history after the Bear......Watched that earlier. I will miss him when he hangs up his visor. He is a national treasure, though there's nothing as fulfilling as beating his team!
Why?Spurrier after his FL team beat UK like 62-0:
"I'll say this much for KY . . . they have a hell of a punter!"
Priceless.
I guess because that was our only player to give them any competition that day. Why?
Nah, TOBC knew he couldn't maintain the level of success he enjoyed over the years. For those who have forgotten, he coveted having Drew Barker as his last QB. I was there when Steve was the Heisman QB for Florida in 1966. He was always cocky, felt he was better than anyone and played to win despite any obstacles. Still, I will always respect him.He can be funny to listen to at times, but what I will always remember him for is when the going got tough for him, he tucked his tail and crawled out of town on his team.
