Any free streams for the Mater Dei game? Can't seem to find one on the sites I usually use

I’m watching it on Bally Sports on my Spectrumcable
Mater Dei is crushing them. 23-7 with about 3 minutes left in the half.
Centennial’s coach for some reason insists on rotating his Qb’s. Izzy Carter had an 83 yard run and then they sit him next drive,

Speaking of wolves....Buford is tied right now at 14 in the 4th vs North Cobb. If Buford can win the state title in their current classification, they would be the first high school in the state to win a title at every classification.

A question for you about Buford....I think one more season of uga missing on Buford recruits and its time to ask....what is going on there?

I say Bosco takes it all. i really like what saw from their defense against Allen. They were fast and ball hawkers. Especially #27 their LB, kid can just ball

Mater Dei, #2 N, #2 Ca vs Centennial #7 N, #3 Ca. Mater Dei won Big, 43-20

MD went to Centennial, Corona home field and played a near perfect game. Hard run game (160 yds) and lethal passing attack (290 yds) on O. MD D controlled Centennial lethal O.

MD offense is so balanced; it’s tuff for teams to figure out how to counter and slow down this offensive machine. The key is they run, run again and pass vertical (40+ yds) with amazing accuracy. MD's O is a defensive coordinator nightmare.

No question, Elijah Brown, Jr, 4 Stars, #7 rated QB, 2024 class has earned his 5th star after 3 games. So far, Elijah is playing lights out against national ranked teams. Elijah has improved a lot from last year's National Championship team. EB has all the tools for a 5 Star QB; he has all the throws, smart, outstanding field general, kool hand Luke and very accurate (he’s throwing bombs and connecting with great accuracy). This game, EB was 15/21, 71.43%, 290 yds. In 3 games his passing stats are 35/47 = 74.47% and 291 yds per game and 136 QB rating. Again, EB is not just throwing short, high % passes, he is completing bombs and medium range 30 yds to 40 yds consistently. Elijah has a Golden Arm.

Making a strong statement, I've seen all 3 QB's play. I think Elijah Brown is way better QB than 2023 class, 5 stars Arch Manning, La and Malachi Nelson, Los Alamitos. I think this 2023 QB class is not a strong class. Whereas, the 2024 QB class has really good QB's and a strong class. Freaken C.LR had better go all in for Elijah Brown, he is the franchise QB that will make USC great again…

WR’s were questionable for this season, nah all doubts have gone out the door. MD has 4 killer WR’s, Jack Ressler 5-11, 190, Markus Harris, 6-0, 180, Jordan Onovughe, 6-1, 195, Marcus Brown, 5-11, 165 These 4 outstanding WR's are truly a nightmare for DB's

The run game is solid with 2 Xlent RB’s. Jordan Davison, 6-0, 210 and Nate Frazier, 5-11, 195, 10.7 100 m. These 2 boys are hard, strong runners, shifty, and fast. MD is averaging 160 yds per game.

All I know, USC must land these 3, 4 stars LM, 2024 class: Aydin Breland, DL, 6-5, 275, Brandon Baker, OL, 6-5, 290, DeAndre Carter, OL, 6-4, 340

LB's: Wondering why USC is not going after Leviticus Sua? Too bad, All SS CIF, LB Tanner Williams is out for the year, knee injury. USC had better not miss the boat on Tanner Williams recruitment.

What makes this MD team amazing, they're young. There are many Jr’s, Soph’s and even Fr that make up the starting O & D. MD is Big, strong, fast and very skilled. Once again and another year Mater Dei has an awesome FB team…

Bishop Gorman # 8 N vs St. Louis, Honolulu, #3 Hi, BG tripped to Hawaii and crushed St Louis 56-14.

Chandler, Arizona # 10 N vs Cathedral Catholic, San Diego, 2021 Ca D-2 State Champs. Chandler traveled to San Diego and smoked CC 63-7. Last week CC lost to Centennial, Corona 42-7. Chandler has the #1, 5 Star QB, 2024 class, Dylan Raiola, Ohio St commit, passed for 16/18 = 89%, 270 yds, 4 TD’s. C.LR went hard for Raiola. Arizona has really good FB teams and players.

Bergen Catholic, NJ #19 N vs Saguaro, Ar #14 N. BC traveled to Arizona and beat a very good Saguaro team, 28-7

St. John Bosco #1 vs Central Catholic, Portland, Oregon. SJB visted and crushed CC 49-0 at the U.Oregon FB field. CC is Oregon’s #1 ranked team and 2021 State Champs. Man, SJB is killing all these other state’s #1 teams by big margins. No wonder SJB is the #1 team in nation.

Mater Dei #2 vs La Mirada #70. MD won in a decisive fashion 35-0. La Mirada always produce very good FB teams, but it looks like it’s a down year.

Los Alamitos #8 vs Servite #15. Los Al won big, 47-14. Saw the game on TV last night. Criticized M.Nelsen 2 week ago, but he looked much better last night. MN threw fo 306 yds, 13/21 = 62%, 4 TD’s in raining conditions. He threw some nice 40+ yds passes, on the money strikes. M.Lemon again had an outstanding night, 229 rec yds, 5 receptions, 2 TD’s. ML did not play D last night. Dang, Makai is one hell of a WR and FB player. It’s a down, rebuilding year for Servite, it’s a young team..

Mission Viejo #5 vs Sierra Canyon #40, Chatsworth. MV killed SC 41-0. Sierra Canyon is one of SS CIF top teams too. Looks like Mission Viejo has a really good team this year.

Santa Margarita #6 vs Mullen, Denver, Co. SM crushed Mullen 63-6. Mullen is a highly ranked team from Colorado. Santa Margarita has a very good team this year.

Saw this national HS game last night on ESPN.

St. Francis, Md, #3 N vs Venice, Fl, #40 N. SF traveled to Florida and beat Venice 34-17 at their home field. Good game, but I feel St. Francis does not deserve a high #3 rankings. SJB and Mater Dei would school them. SF is very big (big boys) and have a Run & Pound O, that's not the type of O that will defeat SJB or Mater Dei. SF has a 3+ stars RB, Durell Robinson, 6-1, 200 lbs, Boston College commit, he's a strong runner, but has average speed.

Venice #40 N is one of Florida's top teams and was State Champs last year, 2021. Venice has a good D and a top DE, Damon Wilson, 6-5, 245 lbs, 5 stars, uncommitted. USC should go hard after this player.

St. Francis 3* DLM, Sam Greene, 6-1, 260 lbs committed to USC at the game. We got a very good player, he was a force last night. But, SF has a killer DE, DaShawn Womack, 4 stars, 6-5, 250, D, LSU commit who caused havoc for Venice O. Crack me up, ESPN kept saying that SF, QB Van Buren reminded them of Bryce Young. No way Jose, true Van Buren is a dual threat QB, but no where has an arm like Bryce, not even close. In fact, I rate Van Buren only a 3 star QB...

American Heritage, Fl, #13 is a better team than #3 St. Francis. 3 weeks ago, I was impressed with the American Heritage team that killed Los Alamitos HS, 56-26.

Los Al, RB, Henderson ran for 305 yds, Malachi Nelson, passed for 203 yds, Makai Lemon caugth 11 passes = 184 yds, 1 TD 66 yds bomb + 96 yd KO TD. Makai is a stud. Again, TA Cunningham DE, Georgia did not play, SS CIF has not approved his transfer, problems.

SM, QB, Jaxson Potter passed for 480 yds, 5 TD's. 4 star DE, Collins Acheampong did not play, serious injury.

Elijah Brown, passed 17/29, 194 yds, 2 TD's, RB's Jordon Davidson, 10-210 yds, 2 TD's and N Frazier, 5-120 yds, 2 TD + 1 pass-catch, 51 yds TD ran wild. MD run game was on full mode last night. Elijah had a nice game (194 yds passing) and lead the team over Hawaii's #1 ranked team. Balanced O and hard nose D by MD.

I really want him and hope he picks USC. And, Zack Branch for BG is an amazing athlete, he will rip up in C.LR O next year.

Yeah, Hawaii HS teams are big, tough and play sophisticated O & D football, but lack team speed. Calif and mainland teams are just too fast at every position. Peace & Aloha...

St John Bosco, #1 N, #2 Ca vs Kahuku, Hi, #2 H. SJB beat a stubborn and tough Kahuku team 34-7 SJB C.Negro said that Kahuku was their toughest opponent thus far. SJB run game = 300+ yds and passing 100 yds. Kahuku could not run on SJB, but did better passing. Kahuku's 7pts came late in the 4th qt and on SJB 2nd string D. It was a good game. Man, Kahuku flew in 3,000+ fans to the game. Kahuku is a small town, what an amazing fan base.

9-30-22 Kahuku plays #3 N St. Francis, Md in Honolulu. That game should tells us a lot about St. Francis team.

After 5 weeks of HS FB, here's my take on SJB vs Mater Dei. I think and feel Mater Dei is the better team and would win if they played next week. MD offense is more lethal and balanced than SJB and with Elijah Brown as their QB puts MD on top...

1 to 5 rating scale, with 5 as top score.

QB's. MD = 5+ , SJB = 3 MD with Elijah Brown has the far superior QB. SJB Clarkson is a 3, his passing skills are average.

WR's & TE's. MD = 5+ , SJB = 3+ MD has 4 killer Wr's which is so tough to defend. Whereas, SJB is a 3+. MD and Elijah Brown passing game is superior.

RB's. MD = 4+ , SJB = 5 SJB has a slight edge in the run game, but MD is very good too.

OL. MD = 5 , SJB = 5 They're even

DL. MD = 5 , SJB = 5 They're even

LB. MD = 4 , SJB = 5 SJB has a slight edge. MD is missing all star LB Tanner Williams who's out for the season with an injury.

DB. MD = 5 , SJB = 4+ MD has the slight edge here.

Kicking (FG, TD's). MD = 4 , SJB = 4 They're even

Team Speed O & D. MD = 5 , SJB = 4+ MD has a slight edge.

9-23-22, Friday, Bally Sports TV, Game of the Week.

#5 Ca, Mission Viejo, 4-1 vs Leuziger #56 Ca, 0-4. Mission Viejo has a really good team this year. Even though MV lost to #4 Long Beach Poly, 32-35, I think they are the better team. Do not think Leuziger is a weak team, all 4 losses were against top ranked teams and they barely loss, close games. It will be a good game tonight.

Update: MV won 49-20. MV has a very good, balanced offense. MV QB, Kadin Semonza, 6-1, 185 lbs, is a 3 star, dual threat and a solid QB. His passes are tight spirals, accurate, has all the throws, good runner and Xlent field general (smart QB). He committed to Ball St-Indiana, but he has been getting more offers and mostly likely end up at a bigger FB school (Boise St, San Jose St, San Diego St).

Although MV is ranked #5 California, they would lose big to the Big 3 (Mater Dei, SJB, Centennial). These 3 teams are like 10's, the others teams are like 7 and below. Huge disparity.

9-23-22, FB Games


St John Bosco, #1 N vs Central Catholic, Modesto. SJB demolished CC, 65-0, CC is a very good team. CC has 5 state titles in D-2 to D-5.

Game stats. Just found some basic stats info. Looks like SJB went air raid against CC. Clarkson played the 1st half, passing 6/9 = 149 yds, 3 TD's. 2nd string Caleb Sanchez, Soph played the 2nd half, passing for 8/9 = 171 yds, 3 TD's. SJB ran for 180 yds. Most of their passing TD's were 40 yds and over.

Note: Central Catholic is a Run & Pound O, so they practice it all week. Their D is just not fit nor accomplished to defend against a passing type team. They can not simulate it at practice. Their DB's are unskilled in pass coverage and defend against a lethal passing O. I'm sure SJB coaches knew CC weakness and went Air Raid on them, smart game plan. Many teams up North & Central Calif play the Run & Pound O. Folsom-Sacramento is only a hand full of N. Cal teams that have a sophisticated passing O and that's why they dominate the other Northern Calif. teams.

Mater Dei, Centennial were idle.


National Ranked Teams.

#8 Bishop Gorman vs Arbor View. BG won big, 63-0

#9 Chandler, Az vs Saguaro, Az. Battle of Arizona power houses, Chandler won in a hard fought game, 31-21.

#3 N St. Francis, Md vs #25 N Dutch Fork, S.Carolina. SF won 26-7. Next week SF travels to Kahuku, Hi. That should be a good and interesting game. Kahuku can focus on just the run because SF does not throw/pass the ball that much. Both teams are big (very big OL & DL).

#12 IMG-Fl vs #80 Central, Al. IMG pulled out a win, 41-26. Central is one of Alabama top teams.

3. #14 N, #3 Ca, Centennial vs Chaparral. Cent won big, 70-28. Looks like their O were hitting all the cylinders last night.

4. #3 N, St Frances, Md vs #41 N, #2 Hi, Kahuku. SF won a hard fought battle at Honolulu, 22-15. Kahuku gave the #3 team in nation a good game. SJB beat Kahuku 34-7 two weeks ago. C.Negro said Kahuku was their toughest opponent. Kahuku should climb in the nationals rankings and St. Francis should drop down to around 6th or 7th.

8. #18 Ca Pittsburg vs McClymonds. Pitt won and hard fought and close game, 39-21. These are 2 top teams from the Oakland region and very good FB teams.

Went to the Bosco game. Servite drove well running counters. They picked Clarkson in the first quarter. Servite was only rushing 3 guys and often played a cover 4. Bosco started rushing. It was a head scratcher why Servite kept running the same D against the run. Bosco made the adjustments on offense and defense and stopped Servite cold. This was the 5th time in 6 outings the game ended with the running clock

Bruddah Pudly, Did you see the MD vs JSC game? If you did, why did MD struggle, scoring only 21 points and allowing 13 points. Were any key players hurt and did not play the game. Saw some stats, E.Brown passed for 14/21 = 67%, 260 yds, 2 TD's. Did not find rushing stats.

Read that C.Rollinson said, the youth of the team may have been the problem. Man, that's not good with SJB game next week. SJB does not have any type of mental issues and keep rolling opponents. Please share your input and info. Thanxs Bruddah.
