It is more of a motel as the rooms are accessible from the outside rather than an inside corridor. That is about all I can tell you from driving by it for the past few years. Doesn't look like you will die overnight but it is definitely not a Marriot or Hilton.

Stay at the new Fairfield Inn in Columbus. It's an outstanding hotel. I don't know what they're charging on game weekends, but their regular rates are very reasonable for a hotel of that quality.

They really just don't care....at all. I highly recommend getting a room on the back side (aka rape side) of the hotel if you really want a creepy experience. One upside to it though, it's right next to the 24 hour CVS so late night snacks are but a second away.

Ive stayed at the University Inn and The Regal. Bring your own towels and soap, a deflated air mattress to drape over the bed, some air freshener, shower shoes and flare gun and you should be fine.

Yep, it's nice. The first game I stayed there was La Tech ... the total cost was something under $130. The SC game was close to $180. I haven't looked at my reservation slip for the Alabama game but I expect it to be in the $180 range.<div>
