Good, but watched a little film on Boylan and you have a beast running back. Our offense will have to score a lot of points because he may be hard to contain.

Boylan is missing a couple RBs, but they do have Malone and Henderson. I haven't seen any video of Sterling but I gather that they're athletic and explosive. I think it will be a good game

Sterling is still missing their number one running back as well, but have a lot of athletes.

Looks like Sterling Newman will be hosting a quarterfinal game as well. Do the Warriors and Comets share the same home field?

How's Sterling's Run D?
So let’s here a little about Boylan, your an unfamiliar foe, I can’t even compare any past teams you have played because it looks like your conference dosent play any non conference games, weve never seen you in the playoffs ever I don’t think? Don’t you normally go 6A? I’ve never been this clueless as to a playoff game between two teams.

Boylan is a ground and pound team that relies on Malone, Henderson and DalSanto to methodically move the chains and chew up the clock. Boylan rotates Qbs every play with Bergstrom (sr) and Stark (jr). Both can run but I think Stark is the better passer. Boylan O-Line is good but small - maybe 220 average size. Nowhere as big as Sterlings 260 average. Sterling definitely has the edge with skill kids- very fast and talented. Boylan is still missing a couple kids due to injuries. This one could get ugly with another running clock for Sterling.

Golden Warrior- Can you share info on Sterlings football stadium since I have never been to a game there? Visitor seating-time the gates open-parking? I hear the stands were recently upgraded.

Sterling has one of the best if not the best facilities in Illinois. I think you will enjoy the atmosphere. Should be a good on Saturday. Plenty of parking lots close to the stadium and I would guess the gates open an hour before kickoff but not sure. Visitor side is steel bleachers and plenty of fence line.

Come on, I highly doubt that, I expect it to be a good game, I just wish I had anything to compare how tough your conference is, or anything to go by, bottom line, two good teams, looking forward to a great game!

I give Sterling the edge, but no way it will be a running clock

Watched video of Boylan, they are very physical and they remind me of Rochelle. Their running backs hit the hole hard and run hard right at you, line play will be key, It’s so hard to predict this game, I usually have some insight but have none not knowing Boylans conference. Sterling needs to play good run defense and if they don’t Boylan is going to put up some points.

Oops. I messed that last post up.
I read it, I get your point and that’s just it, I can’t compare the NIC 10, you guys look like you have size, speed and play physical on the line, that’s to me is what determines playoff games, my gut feeling after watching film is your offense will eat a lot of clock and score and that’s the key, keeping the ball out of Sterling’s hands because they will score, Geneseo and Rochelle have similar offense as you, Geneseo didn’t come close and Rochelle came very close. I think it’s going to be a really good game decided on line play.

Boylan's O-line is small. That's why I was wondering about Sterling's run D. I assume it's pretty good.

Sterling sounds pretty good. How did Sycamore beat them by 28?

I'd give Boylan a slight edge. They are typically in 6A or 7A so the drop down to 5A is a small advantage that they have. Their RB's are good! I don't think Sterling has seen two backs like Malone and Henderson this year.

I don’t know all the details but there were some team issues, Sterling was also missing their 2 best running backs, they since have only one of them back. On a side note Kaneland beat Sycamore by 21 points and Sterling beat Kaneland by almost 20 when both starters played.

I somewhat agree, but Sterling’s D may be able to prevent them from doing what they have been doing or at least slow them down, if not I think it’s going to be a high scoring game.

Impressed with the the stream. Not so much the quality of the video, but more so the video work itself.
