Boylan is missing a couple RBs, but they do have Malone and Henderson. I haven't seen any video of Sterling but I gather that they're athletic and explosive. I think it will be a good gameGood, but watched a little film on Boylan and you have a beast running back. Our offense will have to score a lot of points because he may be hard to contain.
Sterling is still missing their number one running back as well, but have a lot of athletes.Boylan is missing a couple RBs, but they do have Malone and Henderson. I haven't seen any video of Sterling but I gather that they're athletic and explosive. I think it will be a good game
So let’s here a little about Boylan, your an unfamiliar foe, I can’t even compare any past teams you have played because it looks like your conference dosent play any non conference games, weve never seen you in the playoffs ever I don’t think? Don’t you normally go 6A? I’ve never been this clueless as to a playoff game between two teams. How's Sterling's Run D?
Boylan is still missing a couple kids due to injuries. This one could get ugly with another running clock for Sterling.
Boylan is a ground and pound team that relies on Malone, Henderson and DalSanto to methodically move the chains and chew up the clock. Boylan rotates Qbs every play with Bergstrom (sr) and Stark (jr). Both can run but I think Stark is the better passer. Boylan O-Line is good but small - maybe 220 average size. Nowhere as big as Sterlings 260 average. Sterling definitely has the edge with skill kids- very fast and talented. Boylan is still missing a couple kids due to injuries. Come on, I highly doubt that, I expect it to be a good game, I just wish I had anything to compare how tough your conference is, or anything to go by, bottom line, two good teams, looking forward to a great game!Boylan is a ground and pound team that relies on Malone, Henderson and DalSanto to methodically move the chains and chew up the clock. here you go!Golden Warrior- Can you share info on Sterlings football stadium since I have never been to a game there? Visitor seating-time the gates open-parking? I hear the stands were recently upgraded.
Yes Sterling and Boylan will play at 1 and Newman and GCMS will play at 6
He’s not cross bonesing, it’ll be a relatively big win for Sterling.lol, not biting on that one.![]()
I give Sterling the edge, but no way it will be a running clockBoylan is a ground and pound team that relies on Malone, Henderson and DalSanto to methodically move the chains and chew up the clock. Why do you give Sterling the edge?I give Sterling the edge, but no way it will be a running clock
Why do you give Sterling the edge?[/QUOTE I think that they'll be able to have enough balance on offense to control TOP. They have a good combo of size and speed that Boylan doesn't see in the NIC 10. Home field might be an advantage, too.
I read it, I get your point and that’s just it, I can’t compare the NIC 10, you guys look like you have size, speed and play physical on the line, that’s to me is what determines playoff games, my gut feeling after watching film is your offense will eat a lot of clock and score and that’s the key, keeping the ball out of Sterling’s hands because they will score, Geneseo and Rochelle have similar offense as you, Geneseo didn’t come close and Rochelle came very close. I think it’s going to be a really good game decided on line play.Oops. I messed that last post up.
I don’t know all the details but there were some team issues, Sterling was also missing their 2 best running backs, they since have only one of them back. On a side note Kaneland beat Sycamore by 21 points and Sterling beat Kaneland by almost 20 when both starters played.Sterling sounds pretty good. How did Sycamore beat them by 28?
I'd give Boylan a slight edge. They are typically in 6A or 7A so the drop down to 5A is a small advantage that they have. Their RB's are good! I don't think Sterling has seen two backs like Malone and Henderson this year.
You May be surprised.Boylan has 1 loss to 7A playoff team. I’m not sure Rochelle or Sycamore compare. Good news is we get to find out Saturday.
Great game and congrats to Sterling. They were able to move the ball on the final drive when it counted.Great game
Boylan with 37 total rushing yards, I’d say Sterling’s run D was pretty good.How's Sterling's Run D?
