I think we were one of the first Supers set so it stands to reason we would be one of the first to start.

If plays well for our guys. Their guys would be at home all day resting. Our guys would be in a hotel room. You don't rest like you do at home in a hotel room. Early starts are good for visiting team in all sports.
Agree, and usually the crowd is less lubricated except the Cajuns in Red Stick.

Games are being played in Eastern Time, bend the rules in your favor. Get her on a technicality.

Hey, what about our lubricating? The wife has me on a strict not before noon rule. Southern Baptist, you know.
The rule is that you cannot drink by yourself before noon. That does not mean someone else has to be drinking with you, but instead someone else just has to be in your proximity for you to drink before noon.
There is also an exception for athletic events that begin before noon - (1) game time if you are watching on television & (2) 3 hours prior to game time if you are attending the event.

Only Super on our side of the bracket in ET. Definitely caught a break.

I'm never against playing early on the road.

If the grill's lit, you can be too. You can't drink all day if you don't start early. It's a beer CAN, not a beer CAN'T.

Never mind. Just noticed it’s Saturday/ Sunday and not Friday. So much for my theory.

he mentioned the wife and lubricants in the same sentence, are you sure he’s talking about drinking?
