Just what I didn't want to read as I am about to have a colonoscopy. God dammit.!!!!
He was going to sit for probably 3 years and by then we will recruit better... Bullock had a chance and good luck to him in his quest..The writing was on the wall ...After Vedral and Peyton and Sitkowski , Lanfan and Snyder well Taj did what was good for Taj...you can see we have offered about 11 Qb’s for 2022... most look good and are from different areas of the country...

That was a shame. I was really hopeful we would get him. Did he ever make a visit to Blacksburg or will this sight unseen. If so, he might be in for a bit of a shock when he really sees just how remote VPI is.

Well, I hope this will prompt the mods to take down the four "top targets" whose photos appear on the home page but who have committed elsewhere. We shouldn't have to look at their faces any longer.

Now I see that 5 targets have committed elsewhere, the latest was to Wisconsin. The others are committed to UMd, WF, Syracuse, and BC. Please take these down and put up photos of players who might still be coming to RU!

Thanks.

Don’t be a wussie... Taj wasn’t going to play until at least year 3 ... he’s not Michael Vick for those who care to compare. Will he be good ? probably Very good ... it was about timing and his fit into Gleason’s system...Like it has been noted for 2022 we have offered somewhere around 11 QB’s. Taj saw the scenario. Good Luck Taj.

Er ah....just a comment about systems.

Doesn't Gleeson's system require someone to throw the ball to either a WR, TE or RB? Also, if covered, does Gleeson's system encourage movement i.e. rushing for positive yards?

What's so special about anyone's system... when the mechanics have to be there and the team has to show up to allow / promote success?

We can only speculate at this time ....Taj evidently preferred what he was told regarding playing time, QB depth and who Rutgers is recruiting going forward. Everything is a crap shoot...He may turn out to be a legend but we have a former St.Peter’s QB ...who was raw but was destined for greatness on the Banks... he is now a top prospect at TE...we’ll be fine.

Apologies for potential thread derailment but the necro thread on Tahj Bullock got me wondering about the OP, Felonious. Looks like he hasn't been seen around these parts as of June 2021 but hasn't actually posted since one year earlier in June 2020 (this thread and in others).

Never know what is better- take the original recruiting thread and bump it up from dead for context, or start a new one.

BTW, he posted about his colonoscopy and stopped posting about a week later. Not that something would happen that soon, but hope Monk is OK.

Colonoscopy risks

While a colonoscopy in itself is relatively safe, there are several factors that could contribute to problems during the procedure. If a doctor removes a polyp during the test, for example, your chances of complications may increase slightly.

While very rare, deaths have been reported following colonoscopies, primarily in people who had intestinal perforations occur during the test.

Choosing the outpatient facility where you have the procedure may impact your risk. One study showed a marked difference in complications, and quality of care, among facilities.

Perhaps.

He's a redshirt freshman. Simon and Wimsatt are juniors. Would he consider coming in and competing for his final 2 years for starting job?
Temple has EJ Warner, who is only a sophomore. Unless he transfers, he seems difficult to replace?
I thought Wimsatt was a soph? Anyway--sure I'd be willing to have him come compete. Seems the jury's still kind of out on Gavin anyway. Incoming '24 commit AJ Surace may need a RS year before competing for a spot on the qb depth chart.

I thought so too, but I'm just going off of what is on ScarletKnights.com .
