Could two of Tarboro High School Vikings team mates who won the 2010 and 2011 2A North Carolina State championships together actually end up meeting in this years Super Bowl in Atlanta, GA? Some experts seem to thing its a possibility that The LA Rams and The Indiannapolis Colts could meet in the Super Bowl. Todd Gurley starting running back for the Rams and #1 Running back in the NFL could meet his Tarboro team mate Tyquan Lewis starting defensive end for the Colts in the biggest show on turf. Its really great to see the talent coming out of Tarboro for being such a small school. Whats everyones thoughts on the possibility of this happening and if it did who would you pick to win between these two teams. Or who do you have in the Super Bowl period? Keep it classy and GO!

I was kinda down on Gurley back when he got into trouble at Georgia couple years back...I guess I was more disappointed than anything, because he seemd like such a good humble kid,and I always pull for those kinds of people in life,I'm not into those loudmouth, phony, fake divas that seem to be everywhere nowadays...but just watching Todd play and his actions and hearing him speak, how can you not like him,he's turned into a very fine young man,all of Tarboro should be very proud of him,I'm pulling for him to win a Super Bowl,if not this year maybe somewhere down the line

New England vs New Orleans...that's my pick, never count NE out period and the saints got one heck of a home field advantage, and so does NE.

I believe the cowgirls have a legitimate shot at beating the rams tonight, and I have the colts beating the chiefs, chief playoff history is terrible especially at home, they will be tight when they play this afternoon

Didnt the Saint still have to play defense and prevent them from scoring. Didnt the Saint get ball 1st in OT. Quit with the excuses

I was thinking the same thing about all the excuses but that's normal. I watched the whole game and the Refs let both teams play about the only thing that did get called was off sides. Nfl has been a lot better sense they changed the catch rule but still room for improvement bottom line is neither team played real good and if I was betting the Patirots show beat the Rams but who the hell knows

Obviously we had other opportunities to win and we blew it...but the point is we shouldnt have had to play defense again or overtime...game is over if they make that obvious call. Nfl hasnt gotten better....refs this year were worse than ever this entire season both for and against my saints.

Im sure they will make pass interference reviewable like canadian football league does for next season. And it will be really known as the "saints got ****ed" rule. Just like the tuck rule is known as the raiders got ****ed rule.

The Saints did get screwed, it happens to at least one team in the playoffs almost ever year .
I'm still not over the Cowboys getting screwed on the Dec Bryant catch then no catch against the Packers a few years back .it's crazy that the Saints get caught up in two crazy playoff games in back to back years the way they pulled off that play in the last second to beat the Viking last year was crazy .I though that the Saints had the best team this year but for some reason after the game vs Cowboys something seemed off with them compared to earlier in the season I even seen some of the early NFL game day commentators talking about the same thing, they even said coach Payton had been working extra hours to make sure the Saints were ready .if you ask me they should have blowed the Rams out in the first half but they had to settle for field goals.I was pulling for Saints can't stand the Rams but its hard not to pull for Todd Gurley

I agree...after that dallas game i got worried. I actually felt more confident in last years team than this years team. I think we peeked too early this year where as last year we peeked in the playoffs until our free safety closes his eyes and blows the season down the toilet. I still think we would have beat the eagles in philly last year. Patriots im not so sure but it would have been nice to try. But at least that loss was on one of our players messing up not some ref that we have no control over. What sucks is Roger Goodell wont appologize for s**t, wouldnt accomplish anything but it would be nice for him to say sorry u got screwed. He is arrogant as can be. He hates the saints...suspending coach payton for a whole year for the bounty was rediculous and when the patriots get caught filming other teams practices nothing happens. At least your dez bryant was sorta iffy with the way the rule was written...up for interpretation at least. He definately caught the ball yall got screwed. This was hands down the most blatant non call in the history of sports...the whole world saw it. I love the guy that is buying all the bill boards and posting we got robbed on them lol....i know its too late but i wish some rich saints fan could buy a superbowl commercial and make an add about how the wrong team is in the superbowl. The worst part about the whole thing is my man drew brees isnt getting any younger and he has hinted about wanting to spend more time with his family. When he retires my saints go back to being the aints...or at least nowhere near superbowlness. I wish he had tom brady and aaron rodgers mindset where they have basically said they will play till there arms fall off. Id take a 47 year old in shape brees over 75% of nfl qbs today.

Personally I love seeing the Saints lose. Sean Payton is still coaching in the NFL after all. I mean karma is a b***h and he should have been exiled after bounty gate.

Keep hating hater. Exiled is a little extreme. I think one year and taking draft picks away was plenty. Who is your team so i can hate them? lol

If the Saints hit on draft this year they should be the favorite next year I've been watching nfl for 45 years and I've never seen anybody play to the level that Tom Brady has last 2 week's I hate the Patroits but watching Brady is amazing.the Patroits sucked last 3rd
of the season but when the playoffs start they look like a whole new team. the only chance the Rams have in this game is if they can collapse the pocket and get to Brady if not Patiots win 34 to 20

Even if he did fall out of favor with management(Which I haven't heard anything) you still gotta play your best players because it's the SB,and giving him that big contract should be even more of a reason to play him by earning your money....Rams HC was way to conservative,he ran the ball on 1st down almost every single time
Either he's hurt or he fell out of favor with someone in management. Keep in mind their cap situation isn't favorable after giving him that contract.

They last few games (with the emergence of CJ Anderson) it felt like they were content limiting Gurley's carries. I don't get it either but it is what it is.

If you paid the guy, all the more reason to get something from the investment. Paying a guy and then sabotaging his success reflects quite poorly on the franchise. We have seen this throughout his career. Todd shows up big, even when you think he's hurt.

Exactly why I have suspicions about what the top brass for the Rams are doing. I saw what he did against us in 2011 on a bad ankle, he shows up regardless.
