who ya got? Don’t know much about Northern Nash how they look this year I saw they beat East Wake. Can Tarboro contain them?

What I understand is they have gotten two transfer running backs in and are going to run the ball more. One back transferred from Nash Central and the other from Southeast Halifax. Both are suppose to be good.
I think the jury is still out on Tarboro's defense. Washington had several pretty good runs, one of which would have been a touchdown if not for the RB tripping himself up around midfield. In the first half, the Vikings stopped Pam Pack drives twice in the red zone and Washington missed a long FG on another. Tarboro's offense looks great as long as they don't get cute. They will have plenty of time during the conference schedule to work out the kinks on the gadget plays and formations.
Northern Nash really played the Vikings tough from 2010 and 2015 and the Knights won the 2016 game. I take nothing for granted when those guys come to town. I think Tarboro wins it, but by how much really depends on the players. If leaders are starting to emerge after 2 games, then its a breeze. If they are looking around for someone to make plays, it could be a lot closer than expected.

You guys rarely play NN. We have them every year. They have 3-8 or 4-7 records at the end of the year, but you look back and they lost to Tarboro by a touchdown or so. Despite the record, they can't be counted on as a gimme.
They were 3-7 = 2018 & 1-10 = 2017-- 5-7 =2016 That's why I said Tarboro wins by it's largest margin against NN

The black out uniforms were dope to me! We tried to do that my senior year but the AD wouldn't let us do it. How did you guys feel about is?
I like them to wear occasionally. Still nothing looks better than that purple and gold.
Not speaking of Tarboro and trying not to hi-Jack your thread, but I hope the black uniform silliness is over. Nothing I hated more than to see our school which is green and gold wear black. And I mean top and bottom black with silver trim. Our school colors and alma mater song say green, gold and white.
I agree 100%. I think it’s a cool thing to do maybe once a year, but I’m all for traditional uniforms.
Yea, awesome video. When I was a freshman (02) the team had black in the numbers and wore black pants. That only lasted two years. I thought these were very nice, and awesome to see the kids get so excited
I'm OK with some of it. The kids obviously like the black unis and I think its something they get excited for. Tarboro's team colors are purple and gold. White has always been acceptable for road jerseys, so I’m ok with black occasionally so long as they don’t throw away the purple.
