Tarboro vs Rocky Mount

Rocky mount will be better than last year I believe. But Tarboro should roll here pretty easily.
I was a student at THS during that season. I put that Kannapolis game and ECU winning the 1992 Peach Bowl as the greatest days in my sports watching life.
Heard Southwest beat Rocky Mount by 2TDs last night in a scrimmage. Hopefully Tarboro won’t have any issues with them.
Very impressed by the run defense last night by Tarboro. Thought our offense looked good as well. Penalties were a concern against Rose but after that they were to a minimum.
The only team that has a shot to beat Tarboro is Havelock.
The Vikings should beat up this RM team with a much larger student body. Looks like RM can't keep up in football with the other Nash Co. schools. Central, Northern and Southern Nash have all had some success while RM has fallen on rough times.
I doubt it. Tarboro's bringing back too much talent, and playing at home. And SW doesn't play defense very well.
Yeah Tarboro at home is tough. Y'all should beat north edgecombe this Friday. I think the Vikings should beat Rocky Mount. Especially with it being the 40th anniversary celebration of the 1984 state championship team.
Tarboro has upperclassmen this year too unlike last year when they only had 4 or 5 seniors that played.
The 1984 Tarboro Vikings 3A State Champions. I will never forget that defense performance holding number 1 and undefeated Kannapolis to no first downs in that game at Kannapolis 20-0. The best defense ever in a game. I ask some of the Kannapolis fans about that game and they just shake theirs heads and say man I Don't Want to talk about that game.
Tarboro will be good and I have my money on them to come out of the East but no way they put a running clock on everyone. Running clock doesn't start until you are up by 42 points. Not to mention they play Havelock and that in itself my be a loss.
