We've beat down USC teams for 3 straight years. Vandy? We should NEVER lose to Vandy. They are the true doormat of the conference. Our wins account for around 13 combined victories. I'm sorry, I'll take it, but I won't scream and shout about it. Stoops is not guaranteed anything yet.

Again, Fulmer was losing his grip, and his winning was a result of pure cheating. They ran him off because he wasn't really producing for all of the BS they were having to dodge by the NCAA. Tennessee had a shot at several bad *** coaches but they retained Fulmer way too long. He was a snitch, and unless he was producing in big ways, they weren't going to retain him. Tennessee is no longer a power name. Big time coaches don't want to go there. They have little in state recruiting and are land locked. It's an average SEC program. Losing Fulmer didnt hurt, changing coaches is not the problem, being who they are is the problem. They just arent used to it yet.
Vandy is a good, well coached team and a QB away from being a really good team.

Your previous post you said losing Fulmer hurt, now you are saying it didn't hurt them? Which is it buddy?

UK is a good football team right now. Your refusal to acknowledge that makes me wonder why you waste your time on this board.

This is what it looks like. We win games against teams that used to beat us and pad their stats. When we move up the ladder, as we are, someone else has to fall down.

Kentucky is an average football team right now. No quality wins, and still a mountain to climb. If 6 wins is a good football team to you, then our programs history is good.

Again, who will be favored against Ut for their remaining schedule? Name it.
Mizzou was favored by 6.5 over UK - clearly that went well for Mizzou.

All that matters is the scoreboard at the END of a game, not the spread before the game.

Losing Fulmer, as the coach, didn't hurt.

Losing fulmer's cheating ways, hurt.

Do you not understand this history of Phillip Fulmer at UT? Do you not know about his cheating and snitching?

K buddy. Keep on telling yourself that.

We are going to win more than 6 this year - we have 4 more to play.

I understand the history of Fulmer. He won football games and they were the top of the SECE when he was there.

Now they aren't.....

I understand that. But Tennessee will be favored to win out. Nothing I said is inaccurate. And as son as UK nosedives, if we do, you'll jump back on the other side of the fence, just like before. At least I'm consistent.

You made the claim that UT will win out, and said they will be favored in every game to support that notion.

I pointed out how weak of an argument that was.

So you have absolutely no clue to what UT was enduring during Fulmers last 8-10 years. Got it

Tennessee actually has expectations.

They don't believe 6 win seasons is success. They don't believe 7 win season is success.

All of my UT friends want Butch fired, today.

It's not just some of us UK fans that expect results, this is all over the SEC.
The way you regard our program, I'm not going to be convinced you don't have a Power T hat hidden in the back of the hall closet for those occasions when you hang with your Ewe-Tee family members.

I would suck a hotdog before I would root for UT in anything.

I'm just realistic, something you obviously wouldn't understand.

I like the edit there, but I already caught your original statement in a response. Nice try, but no cigar.

Well, sure. But thats not what we were discussing.
Thats what I was discussing. The Tennessee fan said he expected to win out. You changed it to favored as if the word favored has ever mattered in a conference game. They expect to win out, not just be favored. At any rate it doesn't matter because its just the opinions of a couple Tennessee fans and none of us can predict the future but I'm not so certain they do win out. I don't care at all about odds makers and gambling lines

Let's practice comprehension.

I said UT will be FAVORED TO WIN OUT. I asked you, since you denied it, who would be favored over them. You said Kentucky and Vandy have a decent chance. I said, they have NO CHANCE to be favored over UT.

Good grief, If you has asked me if we have a shot at beating them, I'd say we do. But that's not what we were discussing.

Damn man.

I have never and will never, unless my choice is sucking it or rooting for the Volwequeers.
That is strong stuff. Actually, I'm sure having a bunch of them around only makes them more detestable. Sounds like you are from a border county. That the case?

Yes I concede after I said their fans expect to win out and you asked me who would be favored over them so you are right Vegas will likely prefer them over the rest of their schedule. So yes you're likely right. Well unless they keep losing. Then Vegas might pick anyone over them which is still incredibly useless information

My dad is from Mayfield KY, and I was raised in Dyersburg, TN, a bordering county in west Tennessee. I've dealt with these A$$holes my entire life. Anyone calls me a UT fan, better hope theres an internet between us.

Well, there it is. We can beat Tennessee, and I hope like hell we do, I just don't fully believe in Stoops.

That's really all I'm getting at.

Lol. My apologies. Don't go jumping on 65N. I'm hard to find once you get here. There are too many jackasses in blue and white to shake a stick at, though predictably, their numbers are swiftly falling of late.

You're good. I just want UK to be great in both sports. I won't settle for less. Nothing pisses me off more than Uk fans begging for mediocrity.

Actually I just looked it up, I was wrong. Apparently they weren't favored against A&M so only the South Carolina game. Better make it a freethrow. 1 point.

Well as long as Cal's 08 memphis team isn't the one shooting the freebees.

Not true. Some really good players in Tennessee. Not sure where you get that info.

Well, I can assure you I am not interested in 7-5 seasons from here to eternity, but I'll take one with a smile 9 years removed from the last season that really excited me. You just seem too convinced that this staff won't get us there for me to fathom. I agree that Coach Stoops has made some real errors at times in managing the program and games, but he is getting his OJT as a HC, and seems to be coming around in my opinion. Hiring Gran/Hinshaw and sending his protege to the press box have been pretty good moves. On the other hand, he continues to take his eye off the ball in fits of emotion at times during games. However, I'll take this to some degree. It surely is obvious the guy isn't just cashing the checks.
