This is like the pathetic posts on the PT TDs, or even better, the dropped TDs last year.

Glad to see Johnson turn it around but many on here deserve terrible QB play after the awfulness spewed on here last year.

Brian Towles is gone. I suggest some fan mail, or maybe corner him at a deli somewhere and just tell him how you feel. :D

brianpoe is not a huge towels fanboy (I think). Probably, more like; just sick of asshats compliaing, just to complain. Bring some substance, not just stupid random thoughts.
When a player does well, he deserves a lot more praise that the critism he gets on poor performance.
In this case, it's just trolling or hating to complain about a TD pass.

There were things to complain about last night. This is definitely not one of them. How can you ever complain about a touchdown pass??? Haha

This board on a Sunday morning after a win is just as pathetic as it is on a Sunday morning after a loss. Some folks on here need to find another way to spend their time other than watching UK football. It's obvious they get zero joy out of it, even when we win.

I can somewhat relate to perhaps what the OP was seeing.
I remember when I first saw Hartline pass a football I laughed at his weenie arm.
You don't have to have a cannon for a arm to through touchdown passes.
I hope SJ turns out like Hartline did in his career.
UK will win many games.

Well I have to ask, how many points was it awarded as opposed to a beautiful thrown TD pass?

i don't think johnson could throw it 50 yards with a running start

Johnson and the staff are playing to his strengths and that's a big reason he's 4-1. He doesn't need to sling it all over the field.

He is what he is and is and he plays hard and is doing his best to take advantage of an opportunity and you can't fault him for that. Honestly I'm not sure our record would be any better than it is right now with Barker, Phillips, or Towles.

Maybe the pass was a touch underthrown, but he was so open sometimes they guide those.
Maybe the next TD pass to Badet was an excellent throw.
Maybe the pass to Baker at the end of the game was good as well, except Baker mis timed his jump and couldn't haul it in.
Certainly the OP is a UL troll.

I criticized Johnson's play and said I was nervous about the MSU game because we needed better QB play. I got my wish in the 2nd half.

Thank you for having stopped thinking. No sense in doing the same thing over and over again hoping it will finally work after all those years of failure,[cheers]

Johnson threw that ball 55 - 60 yards. Not many quarterbacks have completed passes airborne that far in UK's history. I've been watching KY football since 1962. Quite simply, Johnson makes winning plays.

Yeah. Another thing too is that run by Benny Snell was awful. I know he scored, but he had to break two tackles to do it. He should.have scored without being touched.

Go back and take a look at the play, his right foot (plant foot) slid out from under him while he was in his throwing motion. That being said he lost most of the strength in the pass. In all truthfulness, it was pretty amazing he even got it that far. My opinion is that he must be pretty strong to throw an all that far with mostly arm strength. Instead of bashing a player, it may be warranted to analyze the play a little more!!!!!

Isn't that nice?
