Basketball season starts now (in my mind) but starts on the court on Monday v Maine West
There must be something wrong with me or I just love HS football too much - I keep a running tally of how many weeks till a new season starts I now have to go back to work on Monday and hang the number 39 on my desk for opening kick off of 2019 But seriously my heart aches for the Marist players and the griffins and all players who fell short on semi final Saturday!

That’s not how a ‘posse works. The ‘posse only comes from a feeling of disrespect whether real or perceived as real. Naz has passed that stage a handful of years ago as they have become one of the most respected programs in the state.
They only get riled if you compare all ‘posses in their infancy to their ‘posse. Or if you just mention it with no other reason other than to poke the bear. And if the latter was your intention of this post then I do offer you a golf clap.
I was surprised by the score. Loyola beat East in every way. Major kudos. As a long time East fan, I honestly felt this team was the best in the state. A lot of folks felt the same way. Great season but will always feel a bit empty.
My belief is the kids and coaches will think 12-1 is an under achievement. That is a great bar I guess.
