He is the most complete point guard in my memory an I started following the CARDS in the late 70's. Defensively, assists scoring just in control of the game no one compares. The only category where anyone beats him is in dunking, Darrell Griffin owns that one.
i was thinking milt wagner as PG may have been our best, tenacious D and deadly long range shooter who could post up inside on any guard or small forward so he get's my vote for his size and interior ability on the low post. also remember, no 3 point line but MW would sit in the corner and rain on the D. him and jeff hall were deadly from outside and expanded the D so they could run hi low to pervis and billy T. MW still our best in history, unless oyu want ot go with Rodney who was a point forward and way ahead of his time too.
in terms of dunking, LaBradford Smith is actually #1 over DG but since DG was the OG i'll give it to you. but LS got more charges for trying to dunk over big men than anyone in bball history. if you were under 6'10" he figured he'd go over the top of you.
"oooh, he climbed mt everest!"
