I'm thinking that the game is going to move fast for CDW, and will look a little sloppy.

I don't think the softness and bad habits will be cleared up in one week. Its going to take some more time.

Why is there no speculation on Brent Venables as new HC of USC? Venables is one of the best two defensive coordinators out there and has a pedigree with top programs. I would rather have the #2 guy in a winning program than the #1 guy in a mediocre program. Not too old, not too young. Tons of years of experience. Works in a great culture at Clemson.

Forget Urban Meyer, James Franklin, Mario Cristobal.

Give me Venables as HC and Donte as DC and then steal Joe Moorhead as OC from Oregon. Or get Georgia's DC as our HC. Defense wins games consistently.

I figure we either win huge, or get embarrassed. I choose to drink the Kool-Aid!

In Pullman in the rain. Players liked CCH and it's yet to be seen if they fight with a fire under the new coach. Slovis has yet to get back to freshman form.

USC 27
Hope I'm wrong. Can't wait to see how they play under the new coach.

The loss of Pili, the kid poached by UCLA and the continued absence of Sopsher is the biggest issue facing the defense . Team needs that BIG BRUT who will put the fear of God on the centers mind, who apposition must double team; in the process allowing Korey and friends to pick off the scampering/nervous QB.

Pressure on QB's is the greatest friend of DB's, lets hope they figure something out starting today or it's going to be a long season. Being the golden optimist it will be figured out TODAY! 5 QB sacks along with 2 picks would not surprise me.

Trojans 52 to 17

Congrats DONTE!

Some of you are way to confident that graham is going to out of nowhere call good plays

USC 24-17. This is being generous. I agree with Poobah. Do not bet on USC and the spread. Today I bet the under. That is as close as I will get to betting on a USC game.

I got the game trends right. At a certain point in the game Wazzu led by 14 and SC scored 35 straight...Plus the offense scored 38, which I knew they would score 35. Almost nailed the total points like you with 56 instead of 59 but it was good SC got a defensive TD and Lewis hit a FG. All in all I think the game trends went as expected. I have not seen this team play that fast on defense in awhile. Harrell actually opened up the offense but he needed to use Bryant more out of the backfield like he did with St. Brown. The RBs stunk but overall the team played with renewed enthusiasm.
