The Whole Key is Johnson's TOs.

You clean up that one aspect of UK's game, and UK can play with anyone in the SEC.

Fact is, we just need him to be mostly a game manager because of our power running game.

He completes a few passes to keep the Defense honest and does NOT turn over the ball and we can dominate Time of Possession and hang with anyone in a close game.

I think I saw a stat where UK is one of nation's worst right now with Turnover Margin.

Imagine what that would do for our team if we stop turning the ball over?

Not sure about that compete with anyone in the SEC, but we could sure as heck beat MO. We need an elite QB to compete with the Big Dogs and I don't see that in him....yet.

I would say turnovers period. Johnson isn't the only Wildcat to turn the ball over. Boom had a critical one against Vandy. Barker has more than one during his short time as the starter which contributed to the USM loss. I believe we also had one on a punt return.

We rank 127th nationally on TO margin - that just won't get it, have to get it fixed.

If Johnson doesn't fumble late inside the 20 we beat State by 2 TDS.

The MSU scoop 'n score was offset by Mcwilson's pick six so that's a wash, but yea we definitely should have won that game easily when you look at the stats - we had almost 200 more yards of offense then they did.

He has had a 300 yd game vs NMSU and almost 300 yds against Miss. State, he is very capable of having success via the passing game. He is also a good and fast runner, something we have lacked from time to time at the QB position.
