You talk about others, really? Read your post again. It is people like you and your ilk along with this ad that keeps this program from moving to a different level.
It's people like me that prevents the program from moving to corruption and a win at any cost operation . The vast majority of your group never attended UK , don't care about anything but the game and aren't invested in anything except needing a win to raise low self esteem . Rest assured that I will continue to support the schools position of not hiring trash such as Petrino , Briles or anyone like that . Go pull for Louisville if you want Petrino , hookers in the dorms , probation and overall corruption . Only to get beat when you play Clemson with the supposed best qb ever and a mastermind coach .

I LOVE my team , just don't see this team getting there going forward unless the offense can start helping out...must get to that 30ppg plateau going forward

I don't know if we have to score 30, but i agree completely about the offense doing its part. As it stands currently, we have no deep threat. This allows defenses to creep up, making everything else more difficult. The box gets stacked against the run. The traffic is thicker on the underneath routes. We have to be able to go downfield to keep defenses honest. It'll make the entire offense's job that much easier.

I just don't know if that can happen without Barker. So let's hope he can get healthy.

This team could honestly start rolling.
We have won 3 of 4 with the lone loss coming at #1.
We have a bye week before playing a poor Miss St team in Ky.
We then go to Mizzou who is having a losing season.
We then come home and play a Georgia team that has lost 2 straight and could very well lose a 3rd at South Carolina tomorrow.
Then a rival gm at UT.
Home for cake v AP.
Another Rivalry game at UL.
We could run the table.
You are nuts if you think this team is going to go 9-3. I wish they would but it's not going to happen.

5 QB's and 3 OC's in 4 years and the resulting modest QB development of all 5 QB's in their respective 1 season of play = Fire HC?

Do y'all even take all the facts into consideration before you post or do you just start typing and enjoy the surprises as they come?

Did you expect 8-10 wins this season??? Because I sure as heck didn't... I expected 6-7 wins and an improving team for a breakout year next year of 8-9. We are on track for that IMO.
If MS is here next year you are going to be sorely disappointed if you think he can coach an 8-9 win fb team.

During the game,, most any game actually, you see the defensive players asking the home fans to stand up and cheer loudly. Why is that? of course b/c it actually helps fire up the D players and it intimidates the other team. mostly makes it hard for the O to hear signals. So there is a part the fans can play to help the team,, staying home and complaining about everything concerning the program on the other hand helps nothing.I am gonna keep showing up and cheer for the Cats,, if others chose to not that's fine with me, just not my thing.

Like I said I'll take friendly wagers and I will come eat my crow if I'm wrong.

Am I in the wrong for believing in this team and this staff when they have given me reason to over the last 4 games in which we have gone 3-1 an held the #1 team in the nation to their season low in points and dominated TWO SEC teams? When is the last time that happened?
Ok I'll bite on this..."dominated" two sec teams..beat SC And Vandy by 7 pts each and were lucky to win both...where the hell is the"dominarion" in that...

What about year 4, with losses to southern miss, last years loss to WKU, and having to REMOVE WKU because our administration isn't sure if we can beat them?

4th year, no better than we were in year 2.

We need a change or the mediocrity will only continue.
Can you find me that box score for us losing to wku last year. Musta missed that one.

The southern miss game we got upset, it happens. Move on. And the contract was up on the western Kentucky deal after stoops first year. They wanted home and home or home and nashville. We wanted home games.

Good grief. He wouldn't be at Louisville if we had hired him.
Petrino was never coming here. It amazes me how people push this revisionist history that Petrino was "begging" for the UK job back in fall of 2012. I remember a blurb in the media back then that Petrino's dad mentioned he would be interested in the UK job. Of course he would be interested! Petrino was shopping for a lifeboat and probably would have accepted a HC job at Lindsey Wilson if it were offered to him. How that passing comment from his dad equates to begging for the UK job is beyond me.

If ethically scummy programs like UT & Auburn passed on hiring Petrino at the same time, that tells me all I need to know about the prospect of UK hiring him - it wasn't gonna happen.

You probably fell hook line and sinker for that elaborate Thanksgiving dinner troll job "Hi, this is Bobby.... I want you to come to our first practice...."

corrected.

And we removed WKU because of fear of optics. The last thing Stoops needs is Brohm owning him, it would kill all of his mojo, and he knows it.

Team is improving, especially on D if you can't see the improvement, then I don't know what to tell you.

But put the whip down and quit beating that dead horse you rode in on. You post the same crap on every thread and offer nothing to the conversation.

We beat a bad team, no better in year 4 than year 2. The same **** over and over. It gets tiresome reading the same post from the same idiot day after day. Don't ya think? Don't ya think? Don't ya think? Don't ya think?

The holier than thou crowd posting and lurking in here are hilarious. Who the hell are we to demand 6 wins and a bowl game? We just don't get it, do we? Maybe I'll see the light someday. Until then, you all can kiss my ***.

I love this kind of thinking, even if it is more than just unlikely to occur. Why? Because this is how things get done. The kids have to think this way, and it certainly helps them do that when they feel like their "supporters" generally feel that way. Hate on Coach for saying so yesterday if you must, I will not. It is the truth. Is this squad a finished work? The staff? Far from it. However, I am conceding no defeat the rest of the way. Screw UT and U of L. They aren't gods. As for the rest of the remaining schedule, I see them ALL as toss ups or better if we (by whatever means necessary and available) generate some passing offense. If S Johnson continues to struggle throwing the football, I have enough faith in this staff to believe G Hoak will play if he is ready and can help the team. If he is not ready, then we do our best with the personnel available, and support S Johnson and the team.

It's the head coach's job to make sure somebody develops the damn quarterback. And it hasn't gotten done although I'm sure you're perfectly satisfied with that, as usual.
You do realize that our QB coach is in his first year working with the QB's right? Actually, he has only had a couple of months.

Ill take a "lucky" win anytime I can get one. Some of you guys ***** and moan about losing, they go 3-1 losing to #1 Alabama, and you still ***** and moan. Do us all a favor, go cheer for somebody else. This team cold go 11-1 and half of you negative knowitalls would still find something to ***** about.

The scores were close, but in both of those games, we controlled most of it. I wouldn't say dominated, but I would say they controlled them most of the game.

This is a typical Wildcat Lair post these days. Basically this guy is suggesting the school could save a lot of time and money by forfeiting every game in which we aren't favored.
Didn't suggest that at all. I am stating we are either not progressing up the SEC ranks or it's going to take 50 more years to win the SEC.

I just love how these new posters pop up to tell us all how our lack of success, is due to us just being bad fans. Mitch, and all your sunshine pumpers can pound fricken sand. Beat a Sec team with a pulse, and then I'll be fully on board. Seriously, I'm happy that our players won, but spare me the transparent moral lectures on fandom, just because we expect a higher standard to be met. We beat stinkin Vandy at home, and some of you Stoops nut huggers thinks that gives you the moral pedestal to start pointing fingers. Pfft.

New posters? You might want to include yourself in that category. And its funny to see, the ones complaining about how we ONLY beat SC and Vandy are the same fans who said we had NO chance to beat either. Amazing how they cover their butts now by saying WE SHOULD have beaten both. This is why most fans don't listen to the unreasonable types, they have no real agenda, its just about being able to ***** about something concerning UK football.

Why are you worried about arrests when the coach you covet hired his mistress and put Arkansas in a precarious position , you still wanted him but you are torn over one year of bad behavior ?

I'm not worried because Stoops is cleaning up the mess left by players who gave us that dubious ranking , for example Jason Hatcher is gone and he was a big part of the problem . Hard to understand but this is how it works . You recruit and hope they stay out of trouble but you can't predict that , it's what you do after the problems come that matters .

Hot rod for example lied and tried to get others to lie in a coverup attempt , let's hope Stoops handles the ranking issue better than that . I don't turn on my team because things went wrong , I wait and see how they handle it before I decide to criticize.

I take it you didn't listen to Matt Jones talk about how Petrino was wanting to be interviewed on his show back in 2012 because he wanted this job. Matt was told not to do it because Barnhart had no intentions of hiring him and it would be a waste of time for both him and Petrino.

I knew that was the source and debated posting it . You're best bet is to become a UL fan if Petrino is the coach you've always wanted because you're going to remain miserable otherwise . I'd rather lose every game and shut down the program than have Petrino as coach . I got what I wanted when we passed on him and not for a second have I regretted that .
Careful what you wish for because it might start happening. You'll wake up and realize that everyone is now a UL fan and wonder why your stadium is so empty. Why can't we be more like UL? Well because unlike us winning football games is what the strive for.

What has Petrino done since he went to Louisville to make you state that you feel good about being part of that group that didn't want him? I would understand that if he had got Louisville in some sort of trouble or wasn't winning ball games. He has them rated in the top ten and our fan base is wanting a 6 win season like that's such a huge accomplishment. He hasn't been in any more issues since he was fired at Arkansas so I just can't figure out where your coming from.
