I know it is NCAT, but the Gamecocks look good. Ellis is the real thing and plays with passion. He and Meechie make a great combo. Strong is a presence inside and Butler is much more aggessive than last year.
We certainly have a lot of pieces that give this season some real potential. Don’t want to get too far ahead of myself, but top to bottom this team can stroke it.
Will be interesting to watch Lamont with the rotations. Encouraging start
I wish I knew what the problem is with Cam Scott. He must have some personal issues to work out. I read on another site that he wants to redshirt along with Walker.
Watched the 2nd half. Looked pretty good...hard to say given the competition...but nothing really to gripe about. Was hoping to see more Ellis, since there was so much hype surrounding him.
Evidently he has redshirted. Probably going to transfer, if so that's a big miss on a supposed 4*.
No one really knows yet though his reasoning.
I was glad Scott came back but it may be time for him to move on. He just looks to thin to play in the SEC. If he was a prolific shooter it might be different but he hasn’t shown that ability. I don’t see him ever being a major contributor for us. Whatever happens, I wish him the best.
