Mississippi State fans are looking forward to seeing what Kamario Taylor can do in 2026, and they know what they can expect from Fluff Bothwell, Anthony Evans, and Isaac Smith. Who are the players who need to take a big step forward for the Bulldogs to have the season they want? Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk go over some names who might be stars for Jeff Lebby this fall.

I, like Hadad, wish we would have signed a proven RB in the portal. It was great to hear the LB discussion and how they are a focus for Arnett.

Riley Williams is a tight end from the portal. So they did sign one.
Is that the one who played 2 years at Miami and then only played a game or two at Washington St. last year? If so, I actually think this could be a decent pickup.

Yes. It amazes me that people who make a living talking about the Dawgs stated the staff did not sign a TE in the portal. Yeah we all forget but a little research is easy to do. I will agree that they didn't sign many, if any, proven players

I think we signed more potential players than last year. Several that could develop into good players. But we needed a lot of immediate help & for the most part didn’t get it. Particularly on OL. it was obvious last years transfer class was a disaster. This year at least we’ve got some guys who have a chance to be good.

Let's see now....he was the #2 tight end coming out of high school and played in 13 games as a true freshman at Miami. Something like 8 catches as a true freshman. Couple of touchdowns but yeah, probly just a blocker
