After signing a $56M deal before the start of the season, I was pretty confident that the Titans were going to regret paying CJ that kind of money. However, I never in my wildest dreams expected him to be as worthless as he has been. He isn't even in the Top 30 in rushing yards, he has a whopping 1 TD this season, and he is the worst starting RB in the league in terms of YPC by nearly a full yard. It's pathetic and on top of this, I noticed yesterday how if he knows that the ball isn't coming to him on a play, he just gives a half hearted nudge to a defender and then wanders out into the flat and stands there.

I get that the Titans' line is not the best in the NFL, but 3 games of under 25 yards? Are you 17ing kidding me? Ringer got in the game during the 2nd quarter yesterday and the first time he gets a touch, he breaks it for around 18 yards.

I've seen plenty of players in my lifetime pout about not having a big contract and then give little effort on the field, but I don't think I've ever seen a player get a record contract like that and then just halfass it afterwards. If you're the Titans, what do you at this point?

He's being outperformed by almost every other player on my team, including my backup kicker.

And here's a quote with him passing the blame from after the Houston game: "Basically, if you are watching the game and you really can’t tell what
is going on with the run game then I would say you really don’t know
football."

You can tell that he's either playing frustrated or like he just doesn't give a damn. Even when he has a decent hole, he just sort of jogs to it at about 50% speed and then lowers his shoulder and goes down as soon as a defender gets to him. Back in the day, I can remember laughing any time that I saw CJ with a single defender out in the open. You knew he was about to make him him look silly and then cause him to tweak something while trying to recover. These days, I'm happy with a 4 yard gain.

Trying to blame the line when Ringer outgained him on only 3 carries is hilarious. Luckily for me, I've picked up some good free agents because I got murdered in the fantasy draft this year. CJ, Dallas Clark, and Matt Cassel all in the first 6 rounds. Makes my head hurt...
