I agree with your last statement, but I also think it is questionable as to whether he would succeed at a high level even if he had consistent solid coaching. I would say 50-50 on that.

I love Towles but he wouldn't be successful with consistent coaching because his accuracy is terrible. If a coach could find a way to fix that he might have moderate success.

Either way I hope for the best for PT.

If you need a good OL, good WRs and good RBs to be a good QB, then you probably aren't a good QB.


You guys could all be correct. We will never know.

Shame though, home state kid, loved the program, great physical tools, etc...

He had very little time to throw. He had several drops too. He missed about 3 open receivers that he didn't see. But really had no one to throw to. He has a couple of decent receivers and he did show better touch on throws in the flat. B- quarterback play. They will go bowling though.

Towles wasn't setup for success, but he also didnt help himself.

And then to transfer to BC of all places, should answer the questions regarding whats between the ears.

Perhaps they have an educational program he preferred? It is a very good school.

He will eventually go pro in something.

Well thats good and well, but i was under the impression he was thinking it would be in football.

Maybe he wised up and realized it wouldnt be.
