That's what happens when you win all the time. A nice "well done" hand clap. Lol. Not into the shirt though. Makes it seem like our entire goal is to beat Tarboro. Plus, I'd rather wear black, for the death of Tarboro's winning streak.

I think he was just putting emphasis on this being an undefeated matchup. Not sure why you’re so riled up. How do you think the people out east feel about seeing the 1 million different threads about how good the SMC and football out west is. Grow up dude.

Every other week out of the year we gotta watch this message board be filled with western propaganda. All we want is 1 week to have a little fun.
I spend more hours finding and posting scores on Friday night when I post than you spend reading and posting in a month. Try it for 2 or 3 conferences ounce as I have . I say you can't do it. Your challenge is for Friday night. Put up or shut up ! I've done all of 3 local conferences on a Friday night so I give you only 2 conferences. I have never seen anyone do it but me the way I keep them consolidated...
I've actually enjoyed the banter. It's been quite entertaining. Hell even I get tired of hearing about the SMC or East Surry every post.
No, I don't need praise because I don't have to do it. I challenge you this Friday night to do 2 conferences. You can't and won't keep up with 2 much less 3.You have to try it to see how mind-blowing it is to keep up with. Enough said as I don't plan to do over 2 or 3 games if that. To many that just don't get it running their mouth. As I said , try it... You won't do it.

Its actually hasn’t happened that often that both team enter the game undefeated. It kind of adds to the hype of the game. We were asked about the rivalry and what makes the rivalry feel more interesting than having perfect records on the line.
How did this thread stray so far from the first few posts? I was checking in to read some more about a heated rivalry and I get this???
TD seems to be a little annoyed with this rivalry week discussion. I’m not really sure why he’s challenging people to a writing contest though.

I did post about the AP poll earlier where one of the voters voted Tarboro #6 in 1A. Maybe that’s the post you meant. I pointed out the 33-game winning streak and everything.
No, it wasn't you, he knows who he is and I won't stir the pot by bringing him up. It was uncalled for and he can repeat the stupid remark but I will not justify an answer. It had nothing to do with Tarboro, just a swipe at me. It's over as far as I am concerned.

The only thing I think is ridiculous is shaking hands before the game. I’m all about good sportsmanship but to me it hurts the rivalry and smack talk. Prank wars use to be a thing between these two teams which always make game night just electric. Now everything is so liberal they don’t want anyone to offend anyone with some good old fashioned rivalry smack talk. Just hope Tarboro doesn’t have to play the refs along with the team it’s almost a certainty when Tarboro goes to Swe that anytime there is a big plays in Tarboros favor is always met with a penalty flag. It’s always been that way and there is no reason for it bc both teams are capable of winning on any given day .. would love to see a fair game called that night

Has it come to this? Has the winning spoiled Tarboro followers so much that if something doesn't go Tarboro's way, then there must be cheating afoot? Hmm....I dont think SWE or any school is responsible for who officiates. Most of the time, the officials aren't even from the game's area, which means they dont have any affiliation or care what team wins. Hard to believe, I know, but sometimes a Tarboro player really does hold or block in the back. Let's not start with the excuses if we happen to score, ok? Lol
I’ve made my thoughts on this clear on other threads. The referee fixation is ridiculous and often it gets embarrassing. We can be ahead 42-0 in the second quarter with a running clock against one of the worst teams in 1A and there is still complaining in the Viking stands about officiating. I’m not sure what these people really expect, but I’m positive they will never find it.
A co-worker of mine is an official. I kid him all the time. He was an official at a game we lost a couple years back. I don't remember the team but we were about to ice the game when we turned the ball over with about a min to go. The other team went about 90 yards to win. I rag him for letting the home town kids lose and stuff like that. But he says " I didn't see it, I can't call it".
We’ve been known to take over the home stands in such cases.
No clue, tbh. I went to one JV game in my life and was bored to death, so I've never paid much attention to any JV sports ever since.
