Update after June and before dead period

High School football teams have now completed their June workouts. Some have had players to attend college camps others have had to contend with sharing skilled players with the basketball camps and jamborees. Now the dead period begins for one week and another dead period duing the NC Coaches Clinic in Greensboro during the third week of July.
So what are you hearing?? Turnout, transfers, 7 on 7's, coaches switching offenses, coaches switching jobs...
Let's be positive and informational, not rumors!
Can't wait until Friday night high school football!

New coach joins the staff at Robbinsville and a dandy at that. Had over 30 at summer workouts..Could be pushing close to 40 by Aug

Robbinsville lost 1 defensive lineman
for whatever reason but I heard we picked up 2 from a near by school. Those 2 are linemen I believe. They should fill the void nicely.
We picked up another from GA that might get to start. Not alot of football experience though.

Wow transfers huh? With that being said you are officially cut off from talking about Murphy and Tri county EC for the rest of the year

Difference is Robbinsvilles tranfers are almost always locals coming back home or a parent from Robbinsville or its in middle school.

Garrison moved back from Andrews several yrs ago.

The 3 this year are all from Robbinsville.

Bradley moved here to his father's house.

McCoy moved here in the 7th grade.

I think we have one from Enka 3 yrs ago that didn't have any ties to Robbinsville. He moved here as a freshman.

We had 1 wrestler that moved here in the 7th grade and is now a upcoming sophomore.

We never get a big time player that just moves here as an upper classman to play sports.

I see the sarcasm meters are down in Rville! Let’s see if I understand, as long as the kid has family there or used to live in Rville when they transfer to go to school in Rville it isn’t the same as anywhere else! They aren’t real transfers if they have seen Rville before, have family there or a parent graduated from Rville so it isn’t counted. Ok I am catching on now!! Good deal I am glad your getting all your kids back!

Has he attended Graham county schools all his life? If not then yes he had to transfer to Rville at some point! I really don’t care I just like busting your balls. You give Murphy hell about kids that have lived in Murphy all there lives but went to school somewhere else, then transfer to Murphy because of their parents situation. Just funny how you rationalize how they aren’t true transfers if they have ties to Rville!:D

Loved how Albemarle looked in the 7 on 7’s. Numbers have been great all summer in the mid 30’s. I know with 7 on 7’s you take it for what it’s worth but some of the areas we struggled in last year we looked much improved.

Lordy I've heard transfers from Murphy to Robbinsville forever Visa versa I think some of these foothill teams going to play smokey mountain tough in the near future we already set Murphy down in 2017

So you’re mad that players transfer from Rville to Murphy? That says more about Robbinsville than it does Murphy.

Ignorant would be the fans that said the EC only had 12 kids from Murphy or that Robbinsville kids could attend the EC or that Robbinsville made Murphy play 1aa in 2009.
Im the one that brought the true out on all those things. Those are only a few of many.

The only numbers that matter are those on the scoreboard, and as long as Murphy continues to take Robbinsville behind the woodshed, all is well.

Well it isn’t double the amount usually only a little more than 100! But do the numbers really matter? You guys have played Enka (well more than double), east Hendo (also more than double) and Smokey Mountain (closer to double than any of the others). You never complain about them, oh wait it is because you beat them (Smoky not all the time). So is it really because they have more kids or is it because you struggle with them more than the other schools you play with larger adms? I don’t see you complaining about Swain and they are bigger than Murphy!

Hawaii, Yellowstone, Vegas, in the last 9 months. Hopefully that satisfies the criteria of "climbing out of your valleys"

Swain plays 1AA and Murphy plays 1a that would be why he complains

Wow!! You just showed how stupid you are! You Robbinsville boys aren’t too smart are you? Sorry I will explain the sarcastic overtone my post had (I will go slow so you can keep up). You said Murphy should beat Rville because they draw from more students. If you don’t believe me go reread your own post. I was saying Enka and East draw from a lot larger number than Murphy and they are terrible! So if want to match intelligence go ahead but I will take you Out behind the woodshed because I am drawing from a larger IQ!!! Trust me and have a great day!:D
