From Greg Madia:

Just left Bob Huggins' post-Bahamas media update and he says they're still working on getting Teyvon Myers cleared. If he's not in by Friday, Huggins says they'll take him in December and redshirt him. He says they still may redshirt him if he comes in this week just because he's missed so much.

It would be a great move to hold him out this season since he and Jaysean basically have the same skill set and the progress of Bolden so far. Without Myers, it allows Carter to get more time at his natural position, SG.

this is disappointing. & this is a change from what Huggins said before that Myers would enroll & join the team this month. he was that leading scorer in all JUCO. & yes indeed the team needs added scoring punch & shooting accuracy.

pressure's on Tarik & Beetle to handle PG duties. Tarik looks to have the ability, but will be new to a starting role. Beetle of course a true freshman with not yet a minute of college experience. Will only help make Beetle better esp by the time he's an upperclassman.

if Teyvon does get cleared this week, I don't agree with redshirting him just because he missed the bonus Bahamas blowouts.

adding too, they could perhaps start 3 SGs, 2 Fs. I think that's who started in Bahamas

1ish JC
2 Dax
2b Paige
4 Williams
4 Holton

6th man - Tarik
E.Ahmad

with the team's rotation & depth, doesn't seem it'll matter too much who starts. rather who is on
