“I do too, and I’m going to say this too: I like their coach, and I think it’s the most underrated place in college football to play,” said Meyer. “That stadium, wow. Williams-Brice.”

It has come a long way from a stadium surrounded by a giant parking lot. 😁

Typical talking head blather in my opinion. Meyer had to say something positive. He wasn't going to say "they suck".

My favorite quote about tough places to play came from Lou Holtz when he was talking about going to LSU to play. He said something along the lines of "...the biggest thing that made Baton Rouge a tough place to play was that you had to play LSU when you got there...".

I remember the 2018 UGA game. All week, everyone was going on and on about UGA coming to Columbia and how WB was going to be the secret weapon and UGA wouldn't be able to handle the heat, the crowd noise, "Sandstorm" and the energy of the crowd. UGA ran Carolina out of the stadium that day. I think the value of the game location is vastly overrated. The better team wins 90% of the time regardless of where the game is played.

What, no home field advantage? 🤷‍♂️
Just a figment of the imagination. o_O
We should just be a road team and bring home the big checks and build up the coffers.

The home field advantage only comes from having the built in advantage of much greater numbers of fans in attendance, and travel time not factoring into the preparations for the game. Unless, of course, the stadium size puts your team at a disadvantage in terms of crowd support and crowd noise.
