Couldn't see who blew the coverage on the first TD. I think it might have been Bullock. I'm not sure Lee had the back on that coverage. TV is shtty and doesn't show all-22 angle.

Every week I'm asking why is Lee starting over Raesjon Davis? Lee is too slow! Also, Smith #19 looks like he has never lifted a weight in his life. Why is Smith starting over McCutchin that transferred from OU? Why the only safety who is an enforcer, Anthony Beavers, on the bench? DB coach on some favoritism BS. Not playing the best talent in the secondary.

I agree with you. I thought he should have been gone with the rest of the previous staff. Jaylin Smith would not start for no other team in the Pac 12 let alone any other conference.
I'd agree Lee and Smith are the weakest links on a weak defense. Good thing Caleb is probably having his best half of the season.

The defense looks like warmed over feces. Wouldn't be surprised if this keeps up, some locker room fights break out.
For starters, put Raesjon Davis and Anthony Beavers in the starting lineup. Put 4 back in the nickel where he played previous year. Oh and make the db's not named Beavers...lift some weights! SC receivers look like they lift more than the db's do.

The O-line did look better that series, but Caleb was getting rid of it much quicker. Tough time for the 1st turnover of the year. Defense needs to step up.

Yep, he's worse than Ford. O-line completely broken down - that drive was all Caleb magic, and Dye going airborne like Marcus.
