The hits just keep coming for the Big Orange. They didn't do hardly any off season hitting and it beginning to show.

What's the evidence that not hitting is the cause of their players' injuries? Thanks. The hits just keep coming for the Big Orange. They didn't do hardly any off season hitting and it beginning to show.

They should be thanking their lucky stars they're not 3-4 right now.
I think UT is at their best in a hurry up offense, mainly because of Jalen Hurd... They get behind in the game, because they are still young, but when they get going, they play well with momentum... If you can stay with them into the 4th quarter, you have a shot...UT was very fortunate in their early games, but its turned the other way. UT is very fortunate not to have lost to Appy St. and UGA this year. Would have been a disasterous season with the high expectations. But teams make alot of their own luck too. Hopefully the renovation of the stadium involves digging up the dirt and replacing it. Lots of serious injuries have happened on that field, this year they seem to be on UT players.
TN made a great play to beat your old grumpy old ***! what happen last year and the year before that TN should have won.
Go back to your parking spot in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Pretty sure someone their is in need of crystal meth.LOL! He will be sober when he plays KY! LOL what gets me and the rest of the world is you guys just make up stuff because you have beat TN what 1 time in 30 years something like that. LOL HURD DRUNK AND KY TEAM STONED AS LONG AS HATCHER KEEPS IT COMING.

Why? You won on a lucky Hail Mary and a game that y'all had no business winning until the Hail Mary. Yet you feel like you should be 6-1? Lol. Y'all should be freaking ecstatic about being 5-2 right now. Because y'all SHOULD be 4-3 and hell probably should be 3-4 but y'all recovered a fumble vs Appy that won it for you. Never seen a team get as many lucky breaks as UT has this year. Your coach isn't good. As far as what he does with the 'talent' goes.More sad not 6-1

This guy is a pretender out to make Vols look ridiculous. Right? A retired Vandy fan?
Did Kamara get hurt on that hit that really looked to be out of bounds? I thought he got drug down out of bounds after being hit at the boundary. Hate to see anyone get hurt on a hit out of bounds. It wasn't even flagged.

we'll likely be 10-2. We are one OT play from 11-1
We have played the second toughest schedule in the country and are 5-2 headed into 5 probable wins on back side
Our injuries are absurd, especially on both lines and LB. we STARTED two 3rd team LBs vs bama .
Pretty good season
Re the Tn injury thing and lack of depth..if you go back to after either the '14 or '15 season you'll discover that Botch ran off 15+ players. If he has no depth it's from his own making.
Tennessee is very much a head scratcher for me. They are a paper giant. Dobbs is a very good quarterback. He isn't the best throwing the football, but he is more than serviceable, especially given that they have a two-headed monster at running back. Any team in the country would kill to have Hurd. A guy that is 240 pounds and runs as fast as he does is rare. He isn't the shiftiest back in the world, but he almost always falls forward, has great hands, and plays very hard. Kamara is also a stud. He isn't as big, but he gives the shiftiness and a home run type threat that Hurd doesn't really bring. Couple that with Dobbs being mobile and UT being able to run a read option offense and you have a damn good offense. They have some very solid receivers running routes out there, and each of them should be some solid playmakers. On defense they have some studs as well.
Their fans believe they should be a national title contender, and I think so too. They have not looked like it and I am not sure why, but I think the talent is there. They did get extremely lucky in the Georgia game. Anytime you're able to score twice in the 2 minutes, once on defense and again on a hail mary, it is largely luck. They were lucky Georgia was dumb enough to try to throw the football from their own 6 yard line with a freshman quarterback, especially when Sony was carving UT up for 5.7 yards per carry. Then two extremely dumb Georgia penalties gave UT the chance to reach the endzone with one throw. A moron stays on the sidelines instead of running on the field to celebrate and UT loses that game. Heck, even if UGA stays onsides on the kickoff then UT struggles with getting the ball to the endzone and might have been stopped short. So, there was some luck there, but that's also football.
Not really
We had 3rd teamers playing Saturday
They were replaced
Disagree on the national title thing. They don't have a D for that. A&M had 700 yards of O and Bama pretty much ran at will. They're a pretender, not a contender.

I think this is the problem not a plus. Phil Fulmer was signing the best players all over America. UT no longer has that appealOne thing that I found extremely interesting when looking at Tennessee's roster is how many of these kids actually come from Tennessee. Some of their biggest and best contributors are from Tennessee. That has really given them a huge boost when it comes to becoming a great football team and it is something I give Jones big props on.

You are correct...Murfreesboro, Nashville, Mount Juliet Area, have grown tremendously in population and the number of D 1 players in all major sports is exploding. My private school where I teach is sending a kid to Oregon. He was recruited heavily by UT, Alabama, and Oregon among others...he never heard from UK which I thought was interesting...He wanted to take a visit but Stoops staff never call him at all.Middle TN are has exploded in recent years, other areas too but middle TN is really growing.
