Alright guys, you may not like my prediction so let's hear yours.

I predict Vandy wins 24-17. Ralph Webb has a big day and VU controls the line of scrimmage.

What's your prediction?

The Commodores sail a leaky boat to Commonwealth Stadium on Saturday afternoon. They are a bit short on ammo and fire power.Mark Stoops pack of felines haven't struck much fear in their opponents so far this season. Both teams are in search of much needed win and the loser can let the air out of the footballs and wait till next year.this may be the ugliest game since Roseanne Barr and Rosie O'Donnell played old maids together. When it is all said and done Vandy's ship is sunk...Leonard's loser,in more ways than one, Vanderbilt.

UK needs to win just to keep the season going. In all honesty it may have ended week one unless UK wins their next 3. It starts Saturday with Vanderbilt. However I just don't have faith in this team.

If Vandy has a worse offense than USCjr as alluded to above, then I think the cats win. No way would I pay to watch a game at USCjr with that offense and if Vandy is worse than that I feel sorry for them. Stoops lives another week after this one.

Last year you could feel the season collapsing going into the Vandy game...there just was a bad feeling about that night in Nashville.

I feel like the Cats have a SMALL amount of momentum this game unlike last season. The guys are motivated to avenge last seasons game and the coaching staff knows they are coaching for their lives. UK is the more talented team, they were last year but they got outplayed and out-coached.

If SJ can make some timely throws and keep them honest, we will be in business. It will be a sloppy one, but I think the home crowd gets us over the top.

If vandy can't beat this uk coach, it won't happen again in your lifetime.

Vandy has beat our Cats plenty in my lifetime, and why I do not know the artist formerly known as CrazyVandyFan's age, I assume he has seen multiple Vandy coaches/teams beat multiple UK coaches/teams.

I like UK in this game 24-17.

In all honesty, I think this is going to be a tough, close game. My prediction in our contest was 23-16, lots of fg's. Our defense is steadily improving and our offense is capable of putting up points. Webb is really all you have on offense, control him and you simply can't score. Your D is better than ours but I think the variety of attacks we have available on O will be the difference maker. I'm looking forward to the game.

I don't disagree much of this, but I will say we have more talent on offense than we've shown, we just have an absolutely awful head coach. Derek Mason has tried to copy what Stanford has done out west (where he was DC), but he's too stupid to pull it off. We have a young QB with some talent (Shurmur), but the offense is too slow developing and plodding to see him doing what he's capable of. We have a couple of WR's that have some real talent in Lipscomb and Sherfield, but again, everything is slow developing and our scheme is easy to defend. We have a very talented group of TE's, but the OC doesn't do anything to get them the ball.

As you alluded to, Webb appears to be all we have and sadly, the proof is in the production. Ralph Webb is the real deal and our offensive line is pretty solid, so Webb gives us a chance to compete, but overall, we are dealing with a head coach and OC that have no real idea how to score points.

I think we are averaging 7.66 ppg against P5 teams...

Yikes..
