After reviewing the Vandy vs Florida game I noticed how awful Webb's pass blocking is. I believe if we can get past Vandy's linemen the QB will be wide open. Webb doesn't like to block and it shows. I noticed that the play kept going and he was in position to block a tackler closing in on the QB but he just gave up. He watched the tackle happen. Very similar as Boom over the last few years.

More concerned about Webb going for 150 on us than his blocking...

Really interested to see how a QB wearing an eye patch does reading the coverage's downfield & diagnosing the proper receiver to throw at

Do you guys look to see more 4-3 type defense or the 3-4 hybrid that we've played a lot. If Vandy is going to run a lot seems like we should try to stack the box.

I think we will see some kind of 4-3,if we don't then Stoops deserves about 3/4 of what the board says about him. Vandy is going to stick with Webb for 3 yards and a cloud of dust, they don't have much else

Everyone knows he doesnt actually have an eye patch, right? It was a joke by MJ and everyone failed to read the story. He is wearing a visor to protect his eyes.

Somehow Vandy's OL and RB will pass block well enough to give their QB all day long against Kentucky. We have to have a pass rush if we want to give our secondary any chance. I know Vanderbilt's offense is not good but I'm not overly confident that we can shut them down.

We don't rush the passer well. So it will be like watching the Special Olympics.

Had no issues against a much more talented South Carolina o-line, and even played solid for a big chunk of the game against the Alabama offensive line. I think we'll be able to handle freakin Vandy. Pass rush has been good the past couple of weeks.

Don't mind that, but the police trained seeing eye dog makes it tough.

Played against a QB in my flag football city league with a hook for a left hand, true story.

And before you ask, no, he wasn't left handed.

They wouldn't let him play on the PGA tour no more.

He should have checked with UL they are always looking for hookers

Webb is about 190, so him doing much blocking isn't to be expected. But it just kills me that people talk about RBs inability to block. I can promise you the recruiting pitch wasn't come to our school, learn how to pass block and earn your snaps. They were recruited to tote the rock, not pass block, same for Webb, Boom, Chubb or Harris. Todd Gurley was 235 lb and wasn't a good pass blocker, but it would have been foolish to sit him until he learned how to pass block. Good/elite backs weren't required to block much in HS and never learned how. If its that big a deal, put a guard back there.
