I know that D1 colleges can have up to 12 scholarships. The U of L roster for this past season had 19 names listed as on the team. Assuming 12 of those were on scholarship, seven of those must be non-scholarship team members. Similarly 7 players were listed as either seniors or graduates. I believe that Claire Chaussee and perhaps Emily Scott have elected to use their cobid year and are returning. I believe that two players are transferring in from Southern California. I am not sure how many freshman on scholarship are arriving this next season. Nevertheless, it sure sounds like the scholarship limit has been reached and I wonder how there would be room for Sydni Schetnan should that be desirable.
