The whole field is artificial turf but instead of making the infield and warning track natural brown dirt color, they made it an old gold color to match their school colors. I agree it looks weird.
That was downright ugly. I don't know why they don't have the 10 run rule in these tournaments.
The Wake Forest baseball team is stomping Alabama worse than the Alabama football team would stomp the Demon Deacon football team
They may be in for a rude awakening if they think Rosenblatt will play like their sandbox.
CWS is played at Charles Schwab Field Omaha
Those 9 Wake Forest bombs would have been out of most any park in the country
Rosenblatt will probably play like a zoo parking lot, since that's what it is now.
What's impressive is they have the lowest team ERA in baseball playing in that sandbox. Pitching should be able to handle big ol' Rosenblatt.
