Hey has anyone heard anything about the ES Cards team this year? Any size or speed? Can they beat the wildcats?
Rumor has it Vegas has them favored over Clemson in a hypothetical match-up

That 4A ball isn't like 4A North Carolina ball at all, and in NC 4A ball is a totally different animal and on a different level. Virginia has 6 classifications. If we are being honest Carroll would finish 3rd in the NW conference. Maybe 4th.

This is crazy year in and year out there is more talk about Murphy and the whole damn SMC than there has been about East this year. Everything is being blown out of proportion. The traditional powers just can’t accept that a non traditional power is the western favorite this year. Nobody is guaranteed to win it but it’s crazy to think that the Cards shouldn’t be favorites this year.
Also Redbirdfan please shut the hell up. East is the western favorite and everyone knows it weather they want to admit it or not no need to beat it to death and piss everyone off!!!
I don’t think anyone is disputing that East is the favorite in the 1AA West this year.
I think everyone’s problem with East is all of the different threads that are talking about how good they’re gonna be. Also, the last time East played a game they got beat 50-10 by a team that is returning more seniors than the Cards this year.
I agree completely Tarboro is still the 1A favorite to win it all right now pretty easily. Redbirdfan is just rambling on and beating to death something that is already known. No need to continue repeating yourself!!! But the whole Cardinals are favored over Clemson and forget Brady thing is ridiculous as overboard as redbirdfan is nobody is saying outlandish things. He’s just continually saying the same thing.
We must keep in mind that it’s the same 1-2 posters creating the redundant 11-12 threads. Hopefully things get better next week once the season actually begins. We can finally start talking about the real games and not hypothetical prognostication.

No it was the 40 zip beat down friend ,cards have 0 titles ,they finally have a great team that pilot is proud of ,just really sick of hearing year after year how great u think MA is ,when they choke as bad as east has ,honestly what riles me up is the fact ,that I've saw plenty of East posters on here pulling for u guys when the cards were out of the playoffs ,and last year I saw comments like hope Tarboro beats u guys down ,this small community here in Surry should be pulling for their teams ,so actually this started with ma posters comments last year ! So many m sure ma will regroup and have a better team in the next few seasons ,but guys for this year ,YOU WILL GET THAT *** BEAT DOWN!
Talk junk about our kids ,we will yours ,it goes both ways .Hate its like that ,but those comments last year was Bullcrap ,most of those kids on both teams are friends that grew up together. Hometown ,friends ,family ,people u know u should really stick together with ,not wish high school kids bad luck ,too bad u aren't on the football field !
If u don't think east had respect for ma ur crazy ,we didn't look forward to having to defend Donovan or smith much respect ,and it was too bad Donovan couldn't play last season playoff time ,the same would be true for the gosnells ,pull together people lets bring that state back up here,I sat and watched Tarboro last season ,individually I don't think they even ce close to our local kids talent ,but as a team yes very well coached unit , so enuff bashing I'm here for Surry county ,and I'll honestly be pulling for either team,whoever gets further ,I only think this is east surrys year.
We'll see if ES can win it all with that talent. If they can't I'd be worried if I was Lowman considering the fate of coaching greats David Diamont and Barry Hall in that town. Heck they even ran managed to run off a 6 time state champion softball coach...

You have to be kidding. Last year, you and the other top ES poster on here, blatantly called out MA kids by name, talking major junk about them—in particular the quarterback, who finished the season as a fifteen year old. I myself had a lot of respect for ES up until last year. And it wasn’t the kids who caused me to loose some of that respect.

Watauga being 11 ranked 3a in state ,would have to say could not hang with east , day and night seeing these kids from Jr. To Sr. Year,was impressed with north Surry quarterback also.
Tarboro wouldn't have crap if Wallace rose hadn't went 2a ,j saw the class of Tarboro crowd at state game last season ,so find another site trash.
Redbird is a disgrace for the East Surry fans. I haven’t talked with an East Surry fan yet who doesn’t think the North Surry & West Stokes games will be very hard wins to get, that thinks Reidsville is anything other than a loss, and thinks the Mount Airy game will be like almost every other game with them, a hard fought battle.
No real East Surry fan thinks they can beat Tarboro.

I bet there are some fans that think they can beat Tarboro - and they should. Anything can happen in sports.
MA NVR ran their Hall of Fame coach of bc he played the wrong QB......Redbird head. Now that was dirty to a guy that did what he did for that program. And yes MA fans are spoiled we expect to win. We love our kids no matter what though!
