Ways to locate manufacturers reps

I'm trying to set up a nationwide network of manufacturers reps. Has anyone done this? I'm just looking for some guidance as far as where to find them and other bits of info you may have acquired.

We sell industrial products that target customers involved with water, oil and gas, power transmission and a few others.

I'm using Mana and LinkedIn but am looking for additional avenues to make this effort more effective.
