Union Co. will have a playoff game that night, not that they'd ever schedule a team from NC with any chance of beating them. On another note, 9-0 Union Co. v. 8-1 Rabun Co. for their region title should be a good one this Friday.
No Union County loves to play Andrews. I’ve said for years I would love to see Murphy, Swain, Robbinsville play Union but they don’t want no part of that !!
I think they played every year in the 80s, but since then Union Co. has only played Andrews and Hayesville from the SMC.
Talked with a local union co resident yesterday with ties to fb program. Their comment was "There is no way Union will play Murphy"
My brother in-law works for the school system in Union says the same thing. He said as long as Coach Allison is there they will never play Murphy. It’s a shame because it would’ve been a heck of a game this year atleast.
I think the only teams in WNC that could play are Owen, Heritage, and Erwin. Would love to see Murphy play either Erwin or Heritage.
Would be cool but not going to happen. Murphy will have to settle for 10 games and two weeks off

All he can talk about is Murphy and numbers lol. I have never in my time in this site seen two guys just absolutely beat a dead horse like those two.

I dont hear you discrediting the pandj thing, which is more farfetched than the EC advantage. By far. The first comment i saw when i joined ncpreps was 92 title was trash. Which is crazy to say. Murphy fans cannot be reasoned with. They think the 91 title is legit and 92 title is garbage. How do you talk to anybody that thinks like that. Its liberal mind set. MH is just above the 1aa cutoff. Example. If MH enrollment dropped down this year to 1aa numbers they would still be 2a until the next realignment. Thats how its always work. They think because murphy had 1a numbers in 91 that made them 1a. Murphy was 2a by the rules. They played down and won a title. What gets me is they discredit our 92 title and glorify their 91 title. How can you communicate with someone that thinks that way.
